I can not say enough about the staff, they treated us with such kindness and respect. I have traveled a lot and have never had this kind of service. The rooms where great. I taught yoga and used the studio, they kept it clean and beautiful for me and my students. The jungle surrounding us was a great escape, the...

Alam Sari was the perfect place to experience a traditional Bali. We loved being a short distance out of Ubud in a village. The setting is beautiful with interesting furnishings, excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed 2 nights and had a midnight flight on the 3rd day. They let us check out late (7 p.m.) for 1/2 price....

Just spend a wonderful week here for a yoga retreat. If you want to experience the true Bali, you need to come here. It is like coming home. The staff made us feel like family. We met their families, went and visited with a local artist at his home, had the best drivers. Happy and a great sense of humor....

The hotel is located exactly in the jungle. It was quite an adventure to stay there. It is a beautiful place. The hotel staff was really nice. Villas are interesting but if you dont like too much animals in your room better not to stay there for the night. The cleanlines of the room and of the whole area is...

We were a party of 8 and had 4 bungalows, the bungalows are ok, comfy beds and nice semi outdoors bathrooms. Very friendly staff and the local guide (unfortunately i´ve forgot his name) was very helpful. I really recommend the free village tour. My only complaints would be a constant ant problem and poor light in the bathroom. Outdoor the...

Alam Sari is in the hills of a little village called Kiliki, 6 kms from Ubud. Although our flight didn't get in until 2.00am our transfer driver greeted us with a massive smile. The staff are wonderful and are all employed from the local village. They make you feel part of the family and even invited us into their homes,...

We (a group of 2 parents, 2 teenage daughters and one teenage friend) celebrated Christmas Day at the beautiful Alam Sari, nestled amongst the cool hills and in full view of Bali's sacred mountain, Gunung Agung. Alam Sari is a pleasant drive away from the often crowded Bali south coast, through towns and villages and farming land, and is located...

This review is long overdue!!!! I had a yoga retreat here in October of 2014 and it was beyond words amazing. So much so I'm planning my next retreat for next year. The staff is the most kind and bent over backwards for our group. The kitchen manager and food was out of this world making the most delicious vegan...

Good hotel, very spacious room for family. But its on top of hill so guests have to climb steps with kids stroller it was difficult for us even though attenders helped us. It would be good if they mske road till entrance. Our flight was early morning so they packed our breakfast. They have spa which costs min 20SGD for...
