I had a wonderful stay at Nirjhara. The location is magical around waterfalls,luxurious green landscape and picturesque view from the bedrooms. The room design has high quality standards finishes and the attention to details is outstanding. The restaurant offers a large variety of great food. Spa and gym facilities are very enjoyable for relaxing time in the zen decor. Thank you Alex and your amazing and friendly team for this memorable stay. We will be back.

To reach the hotel, you'll be indulged with a beautiful scenery of padifield all along the way. The entrance is small but pretty with the bended bamboo trees lining up to escort you to the main lobby. Front desk was warm with their smiles and help you promptly with the check in. I liked their rosella welcome drink, it was refreshing. They let you choose fragrance that you want for your shower gel. Movie theather was great, can be booked for private in advance, my son watched captain america civil war all by himself, he was so happy. Library was nice too but didnt get chance to spend time there. Pool was okay, not too big, water was a bit salty though. We stayed in canopy suite and river view suite for our parents. I liked spending time in the morning at the top floor balcony watching the squirrels jumping from one tree to another. Breakfast was excellent with a few choices, all were delicious and so healthy. My husband liked their wellness board. You must reserve a table in front of the waterfall for your breakfast, you wont regret. We ate dinner at the restaurant, they could improve their asian dishes better, the skin of the wonton soup was too thick and noodle in the laksa was too soft/mushy. The sandwich and salad were good though. Overall, very nice hotel to visit and worth visiting. Thanks to the friendliness of the staff too.…

Our main pool uses salts to keep it clean instead of chlorine in order to protect the river and also i great for the skin. I can imagine how amazing was for your son to see the movie of Captain America by himself. I actually did the same and I was so happy also. We stayed at Nirjhara over a weekend and got the chance to experience two different room categories - the Canopy Suite and the River Pool Villa. The resort is located right on a small river and has its own waterfall surrounded by lush tropical nature and rice fields. You feel like being in Ubud, though the beach is just minutes away and so are the hip places of Canggu. While the bedroom and the bathroom of the Canopy Suites are not very big, the rooftop terrace gives it its very unique touch, with spectacular views over the resort, its river and waterfall, but also the surrounding rice fields as well as the Mt. Batukaru and the ocean in the distance. It is extremely rare to have such a unique suite as the entry-level category in a hotel and definitely worth every penny. The River Villas are spacious and elegant with a large bathroom and terrace and simply peaceful and romantic located right next to the river. We loved the special touch of getting to choose the scent of your bathroom amenities upon arrival and couldn’t get enough of the “invigorate” line. All three different scents are exclusively made for Nirjhara and we would have loved to purchase some of these products to take them home, but they were not for sale. Might be a good idea to offer them in the Boutique, as I’m sure we were not the only ones asking for them. A very important point to highlight is the extremely high focus on sustainability at Nirjhara. Already during construction the hotel used a lot of recycled building material and involved and supported the surrounding local community. There is no plastic to be found anywhere in the resort, it produces its own solar energy and is purifying its own drinking water, so that you can even drink straight out of the tap! Alejandro and his team are fantastic and deliver impeccable service throughout all departments. The quality of the food is excellent, and the staff is extremely attentive without being intrusive. Overall we had a memorably and fantastic stay in this unique gem. Certainly the best hotel in Tabanan, but also it does not need to hide when compared with any of the luxury resorts in South Bali.…
