We absolutely loved Alila Ubud! The design villas are super stylish and comfortable, the food is good, the GM is a really nice guy and the view plus Alila Ubud's pool are absolutely amazing! One of the most beautiful pools we've ever seen! We tried the ''happy'' yoga in the morning which we highly recommend. This is the perfect place... More

About 30 minutes north of Ubud in the middle of the rice fields with beautiful views over the gorge. Truly beautiful. You need transport to get to Ubud, but this is provided by the free hotel shuttle with convenient schedules. You can also take one of the Alila bikes for a ride through the surrounding fields. The smart design does... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Alila. It is perfect for those that want calm and quiet in the most beautiful and secluded setting.Check in was very quick and the staff were really helpful. We stayed in a Deluxe room which had a lovely bath, however, my one issue was that these rooms are situated on the ground floor,... More

The Alila is an amazing place, 20 minutes outside Ubud, stuck on the side of a gorge overlooking very lush, incredibly peaceful countryside. If you want in town eating, the shuttle bus has you there in about 20 minutes, however, the on site restaurant is excellent if a bit pricey. I would recommend to anyone wanting a serious luxury experience.

What can we say about Alila other than it is simply the most beautiful hotel we have ever had the pleasure in staying in. From the moment we arrived (after somewhat of a horrendously long journey from the UK) we were blown away not only by the hotel grounds and the views that welcomed us, but also by the friendly... 4-5 staff trying to find transportation solution for our gigantic art buys from Ubud, their sincerity is heart warming! Free cute alila bicycles we can borrow for exploration around the area, exceptionally good alfresco bathroom. Fairly well done breakfast, semi relaxing restaurant area Only 1 restaurant, fairly dull bedroom, considerably inconvient layout of balcony and in-room furnishings. No in room... More

At the arrival we allready felt as kings. The staff is very nice and at your immediate service. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The pool, the view and the food are just fantastic. Try the spa and they organize nice things during the evening. Free shuttle to Ubud.

My wife and I had a three night stay in the hotel for our honeymoon. After a long transit and the hustle and bussle of the south of Bali, it was heaven to hit the rice field clad drive way up to the hotel. It is an impressive sight once you get to the hotel it self. the first thing... More

Stayed at the Alila for 4 nights and couldn't fault a single thing about it. We arrived quite late after spending three hours queueing at Bali immigration and then 2 hours in the traffic to Ubud. The Spice Market night was already underway in the restaurant but we ordered off the a la carte menu and everything was delicious. We... More
