Hotel is located a bit out of the Ubud city centre and the views and surroundings are magnificent! This is a hotel that you simply never want to leave! Service is great, food is AMAZING and the pool area is beautiful. Wifi is available throughout the area of the hotel and you will see monkeys each afternoon as the come... More

In October 2014 my husband and I were lucky enough to be married at the Alila Ubud. The whole Celebration was organised by the resort's event manager Manik. The day was the most professionally organised and relaxing day and completely out did our expectations. We are so thankful to all the happy staff, with special mentions ("Manik" & "Widi") for... Arrived in the dark, woke up to beautiful views of the rainforest, staff very pleasant and infinity pool nice and quiet. At about 4pm Monkeys turn up around the pool. Can recommend the transfer tour to the Alila Mangiss as the driver is pleasant and knowledgeable about the area, plus stops of at another hotel for lunch with views over... More

While I've stayed at better Alila properties, I have to give the hotel credit for: the pool, the views, and the private day tours they operate. Specifically, did a bike tour and our guide was amazing - worth the price to book through Alila vs. major tour operator. (This is the 2nd time I've done a tour with Alila and... More

Arrived here with my sister. After the crazy at the airport, the two hour drive felt like an exploration. Suddenly turn down a rough track to emerge into this tranquil retreat was literally magical. The pool in incredible!! The food is absolutely delicious. The complimentary yoga class was brilliant (and funny - the class facilitator had some great things to... More

My husband and I recently returned from our honeymoon in Bali and we spent our first 4 nights in Alila Ubud. We stayed in a private villa with our own swimming pool. The settling of this resort is absolutely breathtaking. As you drive in you are surrounded by rice fields and wildlife. The grounds are lush and green with beautiful... More

We stayed in Alila Ubud from Sept 20th till Sept 23rd, one word spectacular!!! Hotel is a bit remotely located between the ricefields and the forest. It is built on different levels, so a bit of walking is need, but it helps to burn of some of the caloreis you "tank" during breakfast and dinner.... Rooms are great( we had... More

States for 3 nights after our arrival in mid Sept. Had an enjoyable time but think that room choice will probably make a big difference to your opinion. We stayed in the upstairs Superior room and it is somewhat small and dark. We didn't totally unpack as only there for the 3 nights but would have been an issue as... More

Where to start? The staff at Alila are 1st class and make your stay truly memorable. The hotel is quite isolated and a good 20-25 mins from Ubud, which can be a positive for a short stay but might be a drawback for a longer stay. The rooms are nice but quite small and quite basic (we were in a... More

We arrived at the Alila after having stayed in two other hotels beforehand (Natura & Puri Bunga). My husband and I had booked this hotel as our lost expensive stay, and we're looking forward to a hotel experience that superseded any other. Unfortunately, we didn't feel the hotel lived up to its cost, ratings or our expectation. We had booked... More
