We don't generally return to the same place, but Umah Lu'ung is an exception. With only 4 or 5 villas, and buildings of such gracious design, along with a setting above beautiful tropical forest, the aesthetic of this place gives constant pleasure. We had it to ourselves this time and it felt like your own beautiful home. The villas are...

Stay there with big groups family of ten,we booked whole villa 4 rooms. The area is very quiet, with paddies field and local neighborhood Its not a common hotel, with lobby or service, its just a villa like private house, with separate rooms. The view is amazing, with jungle view and sound of river, but not really recommend if you bring children under 5,because its slippery...

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The villa here is clean with a magnificent view of the forest. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is included with several choices. Love this place and we will come back again even though it is far from central Ubud Transportation can be easily arranged. This place is very quiet except for the...

Wow... stunning, wonderful and enormous villas. I have to say. We were lucky to be accommodated in the one with the biggest balcony. Keep in mind. One other villa has a smaller balcony and two others have none. Our villa had an amazing view over the jungle on one side and a swimmingpool on the other side. Service was great....

The best surprise awaits you at this remarkable place. Firstly, despite the reasonable tariff, it is both exclusive and aesthetically engaging. Tucked away in a rather remote spot about 15-20 minutes outside Ubud on a narrow road through rice paddies and local dwellings, Umah Lu'ung gives you the feel of a more authentic Balinese paradise than you get in the...

We were upgraded due to renovations at out orginal booking, so we ended up staying at another hotel called Umah Lu'ung. I can't stress enough how happy I am with this. The hotel itself is a 15 minute drive outside of Ubud in a very quiet little village. Not much going on around the hotel. Wich was just what we...

on the internet they tell what kind of beautiful place it is, but is a lie. The rooms are dirty and very old and smelly! We wanted to change our booking and they are very unflexible, plus they are not able to conversate because their English is not good. Furthermore, it is very far away from the city centre, not...

I enjoyed my stay at this secluded property. The room was clean with overlooking to lush greenery valley. It offered great value for the money and was very comfort for a couple or an individual who look for a quiet and cozy place.

I enjoy staying at this villa, as it was private villa with nice outdoor pool, silence here was very good for meditation. The weather is abit cold so made me and hubby felt so romantic spending quality time here, especially when it was rainy day so you do not need Air Conditioner. Villa surrounding is nice with many trees and...

“the first villa near the pool was the best choice. Near the main villa where you can relax watch tv and near the kitchen if you want to make something yourself. And it's just a jump away from the pool. :-)”

“There are four bungalows: ask for the two that are closer to the pool (larger and better located). If you have small children, keep in mind that the bungalows are far apart from each other, so it might not do for kids who cannot sleep alone (ours are 9 and 12 and were fine).”
