We continue to return to Medewi as you can get away from the crowds and unwind. Next time I will choose a studio or pool studio not a villa. The pool is very nice. The eating area needs a bit of a face lift but still pleasant. The resort is getting a bit tired but it is clean and tidy...

The real charm of this place is that it is nice and quiet and you are part of the real authentic Bali and not part of the Kuta Beach Party Scene. We we fortunate not to only have the beautiful main pool but also and a semi private pool outside of our one bedroom villa. The staff and service were...

A true beauty of a Retreat. Frank and his staff allow for your privacy and make your stay a lifelong memory. I made several new friends during my weeks stay and I'm sure we will remain "in touch forever". As it is everywhere in Bali, the WIFI is intermittent but the very supportive staff will make every attempt to get...

Had a week here when it was very quiet. Maybe total of eight rooms booked. Nice pool and 1 bdr villa with private pool a pleasant surprise. Menu is a bit limited and the resort is a bit secluded. For those wanting to surf the "longest left handed" it's about 6 kms away.

We booked our stay for 5 days. The website says the trip from the airport is 2.5hrs, however it took a little over 4hrs! The drive was awful and far away from all major tours. 1. The room had lots of critters and small bugs on the pillows. 2. The air didn't work 3. No phone in the room to...

This resort is in a really unspoilt area in the south west of Bali, it is 300m from an almost deserted beach, through a village of very friendly local people. The studios in the resort are good, but spent last 3 days of our stay in 1 bed villas with shared pool which were fantastic! This is a quite small...

On the recommendations of friends I spent a week here. Being a naturalist I was looking for an area that was quiet, had areas to explore, both by walking and touring. I was able to walk the local roads to the beach. I found the local people to be very friendly and I was able to identify some of the...
