A must stay if your are in Munduk. The traditional rice houses "lumbungs" are a good way to experience traditional life of this region. The staff at Puri Lumbung are so friendly and customer focus. The views from the restaurant are stunning over the clove plantations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Probably the best place to stay in Munduk. This is a great place for nature lovers but I found our standard cottage overpriced. I think the deluxe and villa cottages would probably be better. A note of caution - seems like you can hear pretty much everything in the creaky standard cottages. Still we enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and our...

We had 2 nights here mid-March. Wish it had been longer as the staff were lovely, the views beautiful and the food delicious! Our room was the most rustic & authentic we'd had in Bali, no air con but up in the hills it wasn't needed. No tv but that wasn't a problem - who needs tv with views like...

This hotel is set in some wonderful scenery and the bedrooms are on stilts so steps upto the bedrooms, but what views. The bedrooms are rustic but functional with all facilities required, but no tv or phone. The evening meals were good as were the breakfasts. However the first day we had service but due to a big group being...

If you are a naturalist you will love this place. Exotic butterflies flit through the extensive grounds landing on the type of flora we see only in botanical gardens in the U.S. The spa did a wonderful Balinese massage for $30 for an hour. The wood in the cottages was dark and ornate. We were bummed that there was no...

Go. The hotel and area are beautiful. The food is great and well priced. The four hands massage will make all massages pale in comparison. The rooms, even the simple, are lovely and clean. Staff is very helpful and nice. Wifi not great in rooms but works in the lobby.

I was here on the second leg of a yoga retreat. Great place to go, unplug, get in touch with nature. The staff was very courteous and always looking to help with anything they could. The food was great and you can tell it's made with love. Be careful with anything that ants might like, they got into my Advil....

As we travelled north in Bali we decided to stay here. As we landed we got a tour to the waterfalls and the surrounding area from our guide uri. He was such a nice guy and knew so much, the walk was a great experience and the waterfalls at the end were stunning. The cottages are very simple wooden structures...
