After all luxury hotels this hotel misses some facilities. However the location has some spectacular views. Rooms are fine and clean. No mice and rats as discussed in some other comments. We had a great stay here. And if you want something nice with great hicking possibilities this is the place to be.

About the cottages at Puri Lumbung, we heard from an Australian couple that cottages 8 and 11 were ideal for viewing the valley below Munduk and the spectacular sunsets. Neither were available, so we upgraded to cottage 37. What a treasure: from the hand carved doors and window shutters to the exquisitely comfy bed, the refreshing night breeze and our...

If you ever looked for paradise - come here - you'll find it in Puri Lumbung Cottages in splendid nature away from busy tourist sites. When you check in, make sure, that you get the cottage you like! There some few, which are not son good located! We enjoyed the great sunset view over mountains to the far away ocean.

We stayed in Munduk for 2 nights in April in a standard cottage. It was a traditional bamboo cottage with a large bathroom area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The balcony had a great view, and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. We went on a hiking tour with a guide booked through the hotel, and it was absolutely gorgeous -...

Puri Lumbung sits on top of stunning views. One of my greatest memories of our trip to Bali was watching the sunset from our cottage, drinking tea, and relaxing. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is awesome. We did a cooking class which was fun. The massages are awesome. All-in-all, a great experience! Without a doubt, I would...

I spent 3 nights here in April. It's in a gorgeous setting in the mountains and in a small village with very few tourists. Definitely a great place to come if you are wanting to escape the craziness of Kuta and want to do some scenic hiking. Not the cheapest place to stay in the mountains. But I found the...

We have stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed a full day trekking through the surroundings. The service is very high with friendly personnel. We have encountered some rain which makes hiking more difficult because of very slippery conditions. Would definitely recommend this place to people that want some luxury (spa; good bathroom) but also like to go outdoors.

With an extra bed this room was quoted at US $92. After coming from an Alam hotel in Ubud, the service was lacking totally. A thunder storm came just after we arrived and the thunder and lightening seemed to just hover and it clapped above our room for at least 2 hours. We were in darkness for more than an...
