Was surprised to find this hotel located between US 40 and I-70 tucked against a hillside - very quiet. We had a large king room, very comfortable bed. Hot breakfast which is appreciated during Covid. Would stay here again. Several restaurants nearby.
The desk clerk went above and beyond! Our on-line booking app supposedly had us all reserved from the road, but on arrival, there was a glitch. CLEARLY that service and NOT anything Comfort got wrong. The desk manager began by giving us access right away anyway, so we could unload and go eat. She then spent lots of time helping us fix the problem. Our app (not TripAdvisor...) charged us, but didn’t complete the process, and wouldn’t let us cancel. So, the Comfort rep basically spared us from either paying twice by sorting the problem with “B.com”. The room was comfy and clean, the service terrific, and I highly recommend this hotel!
I decided to stop here on my way back from a cross country trip and this was a pretty nice place. Josh checked me in. He was very pleasant and helpful. He’s definitely the kind of manager that you can rely on if you need anything. He was spot on with everything. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside of Kansas City, but it’s worth it to stay there and feel safer and pay less and relax more. I would definitely stay here again
Having spent many, many good nights in a Comfort Suite, I was surprised by my experience here. While the staff was great (even during the false fire alarm the morning of our departure) and the beds were clean & comfy, the overall condition of the room left a bit to be desired. Crumbs on the sectional couch, rust (or blood?!) smudges on the lotion & shampoo bottles, and a bathroom faucet that wasn't attached to the counter were really disappointing to encounter during our stay. If they get that figured out, I'd go back. If not, uh-uh.
Very accommodating place to bring pets, with green space to walk them and friendly front desk staff. The room we had was very run down and dirty, (smudges on light switches, peeling wallpaper in bathroom, the shampoo provided was half gone, etc) but the linens and bedding were nice and clean. Bring slippers and cleaning wipes. (I wiped off light switches, dirty area on doors around the handles, the tv remote, etc and covered the stained and hairy couch with clean towels.)
