Stayed in Apartment room type, we were very happy for Kitchen facilities. This place is remote hence very peaceful. Water on the beach is crystal clear. THe only down side, our visit was on Rainy season and most of the time the sky was black with rain cloud.

Perfect place to spend some days relaxing in front of the beach! The rooms are clean, the staff is great, the beach in front of the hotel is great for snorkeling and there are friendly dogs for playing or swimming with you to brighten your day during your stay. Highly recommend this place!

This place.... I don’t even know where to begin. I feel like they’re paying people to write kind reviews. I don’t even know where they got the pictures. The only positive thing I have to say is the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. After traveling for over 24 hours to even get to Bali and then a 2 hour car ride to this ‘resort’ all I can say is no. My husband and I were beyond tired and just wanted to sleep so we stayed here one of the 7 nights we were in Bali. When we got to our room the first thing I noticed was the towels on the bed that they arranged looked dirty and the air conditioning didn’t work. The bathroom was like a hospital bathroom with no defined tub and was filthy with pink mold. The curtain doesn’t even pull around to block water from getting all over the toilet and sink. And isn’t long enough to keep it from getting all over the floor. I HAD to take a shower after all the traveling. We ate after that and the fried rice I had was good, my husbands chicken was not. We went to bed after that and when I pulled back the comforter the sheets were full of holes. Again, I was exhausted and it was nearly 10 p.m. so I just went to bed. The next morning I woke up and told my husband I was not going to stay here for 6 more nights. We left that day for the Hilton in Nusa Dua and I will never regret that decision. We got there at 2 in the morning from the airport (2 hr trip) The room was their economy one in the main building with a shared bathroom that also contained the washing machine. So we upgraded (if we had wanted to pay double + we would have booked something somewhere else) Our room faced an abandoned construction site The beach is what it is - rocky The food in the morning was lovely The menu for lunch/dinner or room service was adequate The pool was great We got scooters to be able to travel around with our kids That was the only way to really see Candidasa itself and get different food. The room was fantastic - however the aircon didn’t work very well on the first day so they did something and then it was truly lovely. My kids enjoyed exploring the plants and gardens The bathroom was great! Clean and large But a heap of bugs every morning we’re discovered in the shower. The staff were lovely to my kids and they enjoyed their interactions.…

The place is amazing! You can hear the waves at night... there is a good mix of backpackers and families, couples alike. There are four dogs on the property and there are all superb and friendly... Noah, Lily, Sebastian and Simple always playing, sleeping and beaching around! They are cool with kids and people, very well looked after (even sometimes they look at you with puss in boots eyes while you are eating, hoping they can get a little tiny piece of papaya or noodle) they remind me of my dogs back home... This is what this place does to you, it feels like home. Annie and the team are always helpful and the chef lady makes some mean donuts and fritters!! Yum! Don’t expect a 5 stars resort coz it’s not, but the rooms are good, great view and the sea breeze is an absolute blessing! Big garden and front seats to the sea where you can snorkel, all that for a fraction of the price of a 5 stars... 6am coffee by the sea with dogs hanging around is perfect! Great place to stay, nice new rooms. In the garden there are beds and sits were you can enjoy the seaview all day. Snorkeling is just a few stairs away. Staff is very kind, Annie the host even ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. Small pool but enough. Breakfast is buffet with lots of choice and the food and drinks in the restaurant are good. The Hotel is not in the center of Candi Dasa but they have a free shuttle taxi

I stayed in Crystal Beach for 9 days and just fell in love with this place. Room was clean, really good equipped, with gorgeous bed and sea & palms views. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Location is really good. You can do swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, running or yoga here. Sun beds in front of the ocean is so relaxing - perfect for reading, meditating and listening for music. The nearest village (walking distance), lots of good beaches and many other touristic attractions (accessible by scooter or car) are quite close to the hotel. It’s very cool that you can have a dinner here, ask for massage or rent a scooter. All the staff was so nice and helpful. Thanks Annie, Putu, Ibnu and all the rest of the team for one of my best traveling experiences ever! Looking forward to come back here.…

I will try to make this review as accurate as I can. Everyone travels differently and what I find comfortable may not be for certain travellers. The road to get to the resort is long so if you plan on walking you will be far from everything. A scooter is highly recommended and they will rent one here for IDR 50 000 a day. The staff is very welcoming and nice. The resort is by the ocean but there is no beach. You can however snorkel or swim from steps that goes into the ocean. Our room was in the back building but with a view. Very comfortable bed with duvet. Large room. Clean. Quiet. Large bathroom and in Bali you must get used to shower without much protection for water to go everywhere. We travel a lot and this is the norm. However our room had a bathtub with shower head. And an awesome view from the window. The pool is small but that’s not important to us. There’s loungers by the resort and near the beach. Sooo nice and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and they go out of their way to give selection of western and Balinese items. We didn’t use the restaurant so I can’t comment but they offer food. Overall great value for money. …
