Lovely large room with aircon which is not limited to the time you are in the room. Nice pool areas, with nice service. You will receive pool towels and beverages served. Nice belonging restaurant, with incredibly nice staff. WiFi is not stable.
Perfect place to stay before going to Gilis or Lembongan. Close to Blue Lagoon and Secret Beach for snorkeling and diving. Big clean rooms and bath. 3 pools , one with a pool bar. Well maintained, also the surrounding gardens. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Recommend Puri Rai Restaurant opposite but there are also other nice restaurant and warungs around. We'll back.
This place is right on the beach front. The pools are great. Loads of grassy areas for the kids to run about in. It's decent value for money. The breakfast is very basic and not great but there's lots of other options in the area. I'd probably book here again.
The money we paid approx sgd55per night and what we got was not bad, given we had diving on our mind and wanted a place to rest it out. It is a big hotel with a good resturant ( where u need to pay). The rooms are big along with ensuite bathroom and clean. The AC for the room is small and takes ages to cool. Wifi was doing good for 1 day and management changed something but the speed never recovered and had a hard time not able to upload pictures ( joking on the hard time). Bfast is very basic. Bread, crepes and banana fitters with coffee or tea. 4 choices of cut fruit. Location is good, walk out of the complex and the beach is there. Clean and small and waves not that many. On the right hand side is a busy ferry point to go to Gili islands and other places. I give it a 4 rating as this is what we paid for. Good for backpackers budget and expectations…
The team at Hotel Puri Rai are very nice, friendly, helpful and a great asset! The grounds are nice with three swimming pools. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable; bed was good, air con and mini fridge worked well, and had nice balcony. Wifi was pretty slow most of the time but wasn't reliant on it that much. Be nice if they had electric kettles in the rooms.
Warm water in the pool, old hotel, clean rooms, showers differs from room to room (I had two different ones), Bali-style. Fine for one night then move on... Nice staff, however watch your tongue they understand and speak several European languages. The Blue Lagune Beach once probably was wonderful, now trashy due to what the tide brings in + people leaving their waste. Snorkelling is so/so, sad to see that the coral is gone more or less. Padang bay again? Think not!
This is our second time to padangbai, and we love it here, with the little bars and the awesome beaches for relaxing and also the activities are just all around you. If you are staying in Padangbai you can’t go past the Puri Rai, with the big comfy beds and the large bath rooms, it really is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, And the location making it easy to just walk anywhere you need!
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Puri Rai for 3 nights as we were in town to do some scuba diving. Here are our thoughts on Hotel Puri Rai: Pros: - all the staff were polite and friendly to us during out stay, - rained a lot and staff even let us take hotel umbrellas for our walks around the area, - rain caused lots of flowers/leaves to fall each evening but every morning hotel staff cleaned up debris and maintained the grounds very well, nice big hotel grounds, - nice big reception area where you also eat the included breakfast which was good, - nice location, centrally located in Pandangbai right across from beach and one of the bigger hotels in the area, wife felt safe everywhere she walked, - Puri Rai restaurant adjacent to Hotel Puri Rai but not owned by same people and lots of other restaurants in walking distance, also lots of dive shops in close proximity, - good sized room and balcony, 3 pools to choose from, hotel staff arranged masseuse to come in for massage and private ride to our next resort, - rooms are dated but clean and good air conditioning Cons: - hotel is located close to the water and ferry docks, so you do hear loud horns early in the morning from the boats and morning traffic from the scooters and lots of local roosters - bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper (this would be the same for most hotels in this area), - nice big bathroom but on first night no hot water, no big deal, staff changed the propane heating tank and 15 minutes later we were good to go, just be aware - nice big room with small fridge, lots of woodwork, which is dark in colour so makes the room very dark and drab looking, even during the day - rooms with queen beds are on second level, twin bed rooms are on main level, just be aware if you have issues with climbing stairs, - wi-fi is included but very weak and signal kept dropping during use, - hotel staff didn't clean our room any of the days we stayed there like all other hotels in Bali, we had to go to the lobby to ask for new laundered towels. Overall, for the price we paid, it was a good deal and it served it's purpose.....only real negative was staff didn't even offer to clean our room or at least collect our garbage and replace our towels.... but we survived so I would rate our stay actually at a 3 1/2.…
Good place to rest, nice service and one that has private parking space if you drive here. Beach is just up front, across the road. Breakfast is okay. Room is spacious and adequate, amenities were provided.
Room was air conditioned, clean, spacious and well appointed, and close to one of two pools at the resort which is in the middle of the main strip. However, food at the pool was served excessively packaged in plastic. Restaurant staff had minimal English and no idea what I was talking about using normal crockery etc instead of generating more plastic. This whole area has rubbish scattered all along the beach on the main strip. Everything ends up in the water. The breakfast has to be one of the worst I have experienced. 1 cm ants in room
