This hotel is lovely, modern, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. We originally had a room (beautiful) along the side and my friend who was travelling from overseas (elsewhere to me) wanted ocean view, front desk staff went above and beyond to provide options and suitably moved us to oceanview room the very next day when it came available. Nothing was hard, the restaurant was fabulous - well worth including breakfast in the hotel booking, the buffet was fresh every day with many options and the fresh squeezed juices oh my! Perfect coffee made to order, location perfect and quiet. We ventured up the beach in both directions and deemed the location of this hotel and the beach outfront to be the best along the entire strip from Kuta north to Canggu. Will definitely return to Bandha, not sure i could be happy anywhere else!

High quality hotel down a laneway which was serviced by a boom gate and security guards checking cars. We had a huge 1st floor room overlooking the pool. Staff all friendly and very helpful. We had several requests to housekeeping and they were dealt with immediately (smaller pillows, extra top sheet, iron). After a slight hitch at the beginning, our room was cleaned to a high standard every day. We had breakfast included and this was in Mozarella Restaurant about 10-20 steps across from the beach. Buffet breakfast was delicious and the cappucino/tea made to order every time. We also were able to have 2 items laundered every day for free! Fresh pool towels placed on our lounge within minutes of us arriving at the pool. A swim up bar to enjoy. Plenty of lounges and umbrellas, although you had to chase the shade. Our last night we enjoyed dinner and a fantastic Beatles Show. Very well located for shopping/restaurants. Thank you The Bandha

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. The hotel is overall great, with nice accomandation and staff. There is although always room for improvement. Here comes some pros and cons we felt during our stay.
Pros: Great reception and room service staff, we felt they always did their best to meet our needs.
Also, my husband surprised me with sunset dinner at the wedding chapel. Everything were handled with smoothly and the result was great, big thumbs up for Arya, the waiter we had for the evening he was very serviceminded. And also Wayat(?) who helped Arya was nice.
The hotel did a great first impresson at check in, with flower decorations in our room( also a little surprise from my husband, he is full off surprises). We had one off the rooms with pool access at lagoon pool, it was overall a great room and very nice with pool access and poolbar( also the staff there were great).

Cons: Inconsistent cleaning of the room, the first staff who cleaned our room were top notch , everything were great. But then the other days were not as good( result felt like rushed and perhaps another person cleaning). Also it would be practical to have some hooks for the small towel by the sink.
We were dissapointed by the breakfast, there was not much variation, especially for us vegans( my husband eat sometimes/ rarely things with egg, but not me). It would be great to have som off the "vegetarian" dishes eggfree, as you already have a omelette station. Yes there was a small sallad station( most off it with meat/chicken/egg/ cheese on it , so not much we could eat) and fruit station, but it did'nt cut it at all. We told the staff and ordered eggfree, but after a couple of days we did not have energy because it always took time. And also ut would have been great with a coffe/tea station for us guest to take by ourself, you can still serve as yiu do for extra good service, it always took a while to get coffe and tea and thats why it would be good for guests to also have the option to tske coffe and tea by themselfs.
A few off the breakfast staff were great, but also here the service were inconsistent. One days it was lovely, other days it was not as great and the service not so good( although there were not much guest eating at the time we ate). One morning a male staff greeted only my husband and only asked him what hot drink he wanted,, i was standing beside him trying to get the same treatment but this staff showed less service towards me. This continued during whole breakfast time by this male staff. ( My husband is swedish and I'm originally from Jawa, grew up in Sweden)...perhaps this was the reason because it is known that indonesians( and locals) at times doesn't get same treatment as white tourists. I truly hope this is not the reason, but I felt really offended and sad by this. Every guest should be treated equally.

Overall our stay was great, dispite the cons and there is always staff that needs to be revalued unfortunatly. It is not uncommon, it is so in every workplace.

Overall the Hotel is nice, but maybe not for Christmas if you want good service. Simple things, tea at breakfast takes 20 minutes, then arrives without spoons, milk etc. Cooked eggs, takes 30 minutes+. Plates are either large plate or large bowls and kept hot, great for hot food, but for yogurt and cold items, useless. Breakfast was nice ish but limited in options, compared to many hotels. Pool towels are never available, always "in the laundry". We were booked on NY evening for the meal at their restaurant which was to have entertainment of the resident band The Beatles. This got cancelled and they didnt tell us, so it was just an overpriced not very nice meal, that finished by 10pm on New Years Eve, when we could have gone to so many nicer places for entertainment and meals if we knew more than 6 hours beforehand. The hotel rooms are really nice, but full of boxes with bits in, which leaves no space around the sink area, which is small given the size of the room, and even there you have to ask for water and tea bags to be replaced, so overall service not good. The best part was the spa, excellent and the size of the hotel rooms, and beds were very comforable. Location is very central too. My review is picky based on the cost of the hotel and the service compared to others i have stayed at around the area.

We are currently staying at this gorgeous hotel
Upon checking in we asked to cancel 1 night early. The lovely staff member Ani informed us to contact our booking agent as the booking wasn't made direct. She then informed us if the booking agent approved the refund they would process it. Agoda agreed and send through an amendment form to thr hotel for the refund, and the hotel declined.

3 x days of trying to reach a resolution, countless conversations with several staff members to then be told, no refund will be offered as the booking is non refundable!!! If this was the case, we should never have be given the run around. I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed.

The pool area is tiled and gets extremely hot on your feet. The pool lounges in the front pool area are reserved by pool towels and bags early.

The beds are really comfortable and the restaurant food I'd amazing.

Based on our experience I won't be recommending and I won't be back. I'd expect better customer service and communication from a 5 star hotel

10 out of 10! We absolutely love this hotel. The staff are some of the loveliest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The hotel is immaculate and the furnishings and design are modern and opulent. We were always greeted with a warm, genuine smile and hello from every single staff member and were made to feel like part of their happy family. The service is more than excellent and every guest is treated like a VIP. Classy, fun and outstanding value for the price. The breakfast at the Mozzarella restaurant had quite an extensive offering, which was included in our room price and we had top-quality barista-prepared coffee every morning as part of the included breakfast experience. The pool areas an bars are very well maintained and staffed with very friendly and entertaining staff who know how to make great cocktails. This is a boutique hotel that offers so much more of a personal touch and higher quality than the larger style of hotels. Already planning our next visit with great anticipation.

Just returned from a Bali trip with friends where we spent a week staying at The Bandha. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and can’t speak highly enough of the property and staff. The Bandha is very modern, clean and spacious and all of the staff were always SO friendly and willing to help. The hotels restaurant ‘Mozarella’ is right on the road opposite the beach and from the lobby entrance it’s easy access to bars, cafes, shops etc. so in a great position. Breakfast was served at Mozarella and it has everything you’d expect, lots of choices (inc egg station), and was all great quality. There are two pools, both with swim up bars, good quality pool towels, very comfy lounges (plenty of them), however both pool areas would benefit from a few more umbrellas for shade. Also a decent gym there (if that’s what you do on holidays 🤔) . Stayed in a deluxe room (which are the base rooms) on level 3, with pool view. Room was spacious, good aircon, smallish balcony (but we managed to fit six people on it just fine) which has a stand there for putting your wet bathers on which was handy, it has one large comfy chair that can fit two at a pinch, but there is another chair in room you can put out there if needed. Bathroom has the vanity/mirror area, and then the shower area is separated by a door, which is good when two people need to get ready (would have been nice to have another mirror in the main room, but just a nice to have). Visited the spa centre more than once, the standard of the facility and services was excellent and they had a great very reasonably priced massage special on, so it was a popular place. I would highly recommend this resort.

The Bandha is a beautiful hotel that is spotlessly clean and has an extremely calm and welcoming feel to it. The staff are possibly the best I’ve come across in Bali and I’ve stayed at many properties. The rooms are spacious and very good value for money. Both pools are lovely and I liked how you could access the hotel via the beach through Mozarella's By The Sea and via its main lobby. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel and would definitely choose to stay there again. PS location wise it’s excellent and only a fifteen to twenty minute, 30 000rp or $3Au approx Bluebird taxi ride to Seminyak. The taxis are easy to get from The Bandha as staff will call one for you and you just wait in comfort in the lobby for a very short time!!

This was my 6th stay at The Bandha and I would have to say it is the very
best hotel in Legian. I have been coming to Bali since 1983 and have stayed
at so many hotels throughout Bali over the years. The Bandha was built in 2016 and is the best by far, It is a modern which has impressively included the balinese culture in
its decor and is very relaxing, comfortably covered day beds, attentive service around the pool area, water features apply the tranquilty to your ear and the hotel is
just beautiful.
Location, Comfort, resort style swimming pools with swim up bar in both pools.
Restaurant, buffet breakfast, and the spa are fantastic, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious and the beds and pillows are luxurious, the air conditioners work so well. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you and always with a smile !! They really make you feel at home at The Bandha. They even remembered my hubbys birthday and when we came back from our outing they had a birthday cake, flowers and a lovely card in our room for him.
The bandha is located on the beach in Legian and the buffet breakfast is served at the hotels restaurant Mozzarella by the sea which is a great way to begin each morning. The location is fantastic with so many restaurants and shops just steps away.
Cannot wait to come back later in the year and spend another week at The Bandha,
It is definately the only place to stay in Legian.

This was our first stay at this resort and it certainly won’t be our last. From the warm welcome when checking in to our bags being loaded into a taxi as we left everything was truly exceptional and it is amazing. They can maintain this standard throughout the whole resort.

Location – just about perfect. Steps right out onto the beach at the front and at the back you are in the thick of things with numerous bars, shops and restaurants.

It isn’t a long drive from the airport and taxi drivers know exactly where it is.

Rooms – we went for a junior suite and it was very big and comfortable indeed. The bed was huge and comfortable with great pillows and Air conditioning that easily did the job.

Hot drinks, making facilities are provided, as are umbrellas, free of charge safe and a fridge. The bathroom is beautifully done out and comes with top class toiletries. There was a shower and a bath which was a real bonus.

The balcony had two big comfortable chairs on it and a table and we spent a long time there in the morning in the evenings. Very comfortable indeed.

Wi-Fi - free for unlimited devices, although you may have to ask for another login if you want more than three on at a time. It was fast enough to stream video easily and reaches all the way through the resort and even down to the beach!

Pool areas – superb .

The sunbeds are a game top quality and we always managed to get two together wherever we wanted. There is a pool which has views of the beach or the back one which is in the resort itself and we never saw any of the selfish sun bed reservation going on.

The service around the pool is amazing and it’s quite incredible how they keep so many staff so happy and always with a smile on their face.

One small recommendation – maybe review the music played around the pool sometimes? We thought some of it was not great. Perhaps have something more relaxing.

Food - you eat in the mozzarella restaurant down by the beach which is beautiful. We had breakfast included which had a good mix of Indonesian , and international food, both hot and cold. At the risk of repeating myself, everything was top quality, including the coffee and almost the juice!

Staff – very attentive, indeed in every area of the hotel from emailing them with a request, help with taxis and so on nothing is too much trouble and done with a smile on their face.

in short, this place blew us away. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in several hotels nearby, but this one was head and shoulders above any of them.
