The beds are the biggest and most comfortable Ive ever slept in in Bali. Bathrooms are huge but laking good soap (need to add liquid soap for handwashing). We stayed in a Junior Suite Room and our request to be next to our friends was happily accommodated by Niksoma (Thank you). Pools were lovely and clean, but so warm it wasnt refreshing to swim in- Bali is pretty hot though so not much Niksoma can do about that (we stayed in Feb). Loved that it was right on the beach and the boys at Orange Bar (on beach) were the most helpful and friendly on that strip. Breakfast had a huge selection and was delicious. Great location, lovely boutique hotel, extremely friendly & helpful staff. We would definitely return to Seminyak & Niksoma again. Thanks for a great stay!

When you arrive at a hotel without any prior knowledge you are not to sure what to expect. From the initial greeting to the day of leaving all we got was 110% attention and satisfaction. From pool staff, waiters and cleaners you could not ask for anymore. Overall an excellent experience that hopefully my wife and i can revisit in the future.

This was our 3rd trip to Bali, and our best accommodation experience so far!

The location is convenient, across the road from the beach and there are a multitude of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Shopping and banking facilities are also close by, with easy access to transportation if you need it.

The resort is very clean and exceptionally well maintained. The only thing shinier than the floor tiles are the sunny smiles of the staff that work there. We felt a very genuine hospitality and warmth offered from everyone we met at the resort, which was a highlight of our stay.

Our dining experience at the resort was amazing from the buffet breakfast, poolside snacks, and to a lovely dinner at the Hitana restaurant. Great food, delicious cocktails and immaculate service. Pricing is very reasonable considering quality, and happy hour virtually runs all day with 2 for 1 cocktails. We also enjoyed a fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration, the menu and entertainment made for a fantastic start to 2024. Special thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well!

We stayed in a Classic Deluxe room that was comfortable and spacious, clean and well appointed. Thank goodness for the air-conditioning.
The housekeeping staff were fantastic. In addition to a daily room service, each time we returned to our room they had popped in for a quick tidy up or turned down the bed. Fresh bottled water was provided daily. These small but personal touches really made our time there special.
The bedding was the best I have ever slept in. The bed itself was huge and extremely comfortable, but the pillows… (we nicknamed them the Marshmallows) were large and soft but full of volume. We slept beautifully!
My only negative is that our room had a step in bath/shower, which is something I personally dislike. Would not be easy to access if you had physical limitations.

The pool area is beautiful and kept clean and well attended all day. We also enjoyed several massages in the Spa during our stay. The prices were very reasonable and the ladies were amazing at their craft and also very friendly.

If you are looking for a quality place to stay that is big on heart and goes the extra mile to make you smile, this is definitely the place for you.

Our second stay at Niksoma in 3 years. Checked in for a 5 night stay in a suite to be told it was unavailable for the first night due to "unforeseen circumstances". Further questioning revealed that was a lie and room had been double booked. Was told I would get a refund of the price difference of $30. Pushed and was granted a free set menu dinner for two. Was hard work to get any recognition and an apology of the hotel's mistake.

Stayed in a junior suite Room 705 for the first night. Room 802 for the remaining 4 nights. The Junior suite had by far a bigger bathroom (almost 3 times the size and two vanities). (There is a reason the photos of the suites do not show the bathrooms). If a Junior suite near the pool is available, I suggest booking that over a suite, unless the suite is the one overlooking the pool (room 811).

Staff do their best, and service is mostly good. Food and pool service is good. Pools are great, as is location. Staff were very responsive to requests for glasses/ice/ironing board for the room, with the items often arriving within 5-10 minutes.

Really enjoyed staying at Niksoma. We stayed in a Suite room which was nice and big with pool view from the balcony. Rooms are slightly dated but well appointed, bed was a little soft for me but that’s a personal preference. Two nice pools overlooking the beach. My only negative comment was that I was shocked and very disappointed to see that your hotel is still using plastic drinking straws around the pool and in restaurant. Every other place we ate, stayed and drank at in Bali are all now using stainless steel, paper or bamboo straws. This is an easy change to make and in light of the well advertised plastic problem on the beaches in Bali, an issue management needs to address urgently. Please do it for the environment.

Aside from this, we really enjoyed the hotel and excellent friendly and helpful staff and we would stay again. But PLEASE get rid of the plastic straws!,

We have stayed at the Niksoma many times either for a winter break or a short stopover whilst travelling further afield and it never fails to impress. The staff are so welcoming and the maintenance standard at the property is exceptional.
The food at the Hitana Restaurant is always great and you can’t beat the beachside location. We will be back yet again! :)

I have stayed at quite a few different hotels in Bali across the years, some of the big names and some of the smaller boutique hotels. Nothing comes close to our recent stay at the Bali Niksoma. The hotel has around 54 rooms and is located in a great central location opposite the beach in Legian. We stayed in a Classic Deluxe room which we loved and would request this exact room when we stay again. Breakfast was good, I got my tropical fruit fix each day along with many other options to choose from and included all coffees (cappuccino, flat whites etc) to get your started. They have a happy hour daily from midday until 6pm with 2for1 cocktails which we enjoyed by the pool. Food is very reasonably priced and good, by the pool and in the restaurant. But, it is the staff which are the outstanding feature of this hotel - they are absolutely outstanding, warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff.
We loved the hotel and this will be where we always return to.

What a place! Great staff and facilities. This place is impeccable. Great rooms and well located close to everything you need in and around Legian.

My only issue with this resort and the one sticking point that stopped it from being excellent in my opinion is the two large pool areas. Both pools have ample sun beds and umbrellas from the hot Bali sun, the issue was that once a towel was placed on the sun bed it wasn’t cleared by the users or pool staff.

On our first day there we went to the pool and took the only available pool lounge( no shade), every other seat had towels on them. Only issue was there was only us and about 4 other people swimming. So clearly this meant people were either hoarding lounges or towels were not being cleared. This happened everyday of our stay.

This is the only thing letting this place down. If people aren’t in the pool then make the lounges available for people that want to relax.

My suggestion would be the same that many other resorts do, towels left for 20 mins on lounges without bums on them are cleared so other people have the benefit of using them

I meant to mention October - November when we were there due to a lack of rain the Pool temperature was Celsius low to mid thirties temperature. So if you want a hot soak terrific however lap swimming is an effort.
