We booked in to the Vilarisi just so we could store luggage between the time we left the Mara River Safari Lodge while we went for a last minute shop and shower before going to the airport. I can tell you the short few hours was enough of this dirty, smelly, ugly, and depressing place. OMG how I pity anyone... More

Firstly let me say that I am a budget traveller. I love finding little gems that help to stretch my holiday dollar and do not expect champagne on a beer (or water) budget... This hotel could be one of those gems... it is in a great location, our room was large, well furnished and a kettle was provided, the lead... More

ok only if you are single! The double bed room was a king single bed only, no windows, barely working a/c... A fan would be better, smell disgusting, barely functional bathroom. I've stayed in many home stays & budget accoms but so far this place has very few redeeming qualities! Ok, the positives are prob the location, if you want... More

I booked 2 family room for 8 persons for 1 night, after checked in I feel this hotel is not that bad, pretty impresive with the look and amnities they had. Trouble came in the morning when I'm doing my ritual "defecate". After sitting couple minutes and I'd like to finishing my ritual then no water at all. Of course... More

This hotel appears to be century old from outside, yet charming due to its unique historic look. From inside the setup is average. The rooms are clean (although, you got to careful with mosquitos). The staff is very nice and co-operative. Swimming pool is smaller than it appears online, yet accomodative. It's situated closer to airport and in heart of... More

This old 4 story hotel is a classic. Great Balinese hospitality, super friendly & helpful staff, central to all of Kuta's attractions, but quiet. Good security, (special thanks to Koekoek, the most helpful security guard in town, can help with discount rental scooters & realistic pricing, a true Bali gentleman who became a true friend to me in my recent... This older hotel is great for the budget traveller. Just don't be someone with a young family or anyone wanting a full nights sleep. There is a live band playing loudly every night adjacent to the hotel. Complaints about the noise are met with a shrug. It's Bali and no one cares about noise pollution. Grrr

We didn't have much of choice when we decided to stay here. So when we found that service was so so, condition was very outdated, pool was unappealing, we just took it. But definitely not a place where you want to spend on your vacation with the whole family
