Liked · The location couldn't have been better. Less than 5 minutes walk and you're at the beach. A great variety of places to eat and drink and shop. The area kept me entertained for my full 30 day stay at Grandmas Plus Hotel Legian. The bed and pillows were comfy and the ac worked perfectly. The mini fridge was a much welcomed added convenience too. I paid for 30 days accommodations with breakfast but I ended up wishing I hadn’t. For reasons no one cared to explain, you just couldn’t order a cheese omelet. The menu had cheese omelet on it It they put white tape over the word cheese and so there was no way to ask for an omelet of your choice. I thought maybe they had completely run out of cheese and thanks to covid maybe they couldn’t get any. But one morning when I ordered breakfast and asked for butter and jam for my toast they somehow gave me a tray of melted cheese and jam. How on earth did someone cut cheese, place it in a dish, microwave it so it is melted and stuck to the tray, then place it beside the container of jam on my plate of toast somehow thinking it was butter?! The fact that there were only three breakfast options and no breakfast bar and they didn’t allow any modifications to what you could have with your breakfast is what made me feel like I would have been better off not buying the breakfast package. They served a small portion of fresh fruit with breakfast but again, for reasons no one cared to explain, they did not have fresh fruit juice available. Even though they served fresh watermelon, papaya and pineapples, when I ordered pineapple juice it was artificial. The orange juice was also artificial. It reminded me of watered down sunny delight with extra syrup added. I actually couldn’t believe this. Up until my stay at Grandmas Plus Legian, every place I had breakfast always had pure, fresh fruit juices. Not this particular Grandmas Plus Hotel Legian location. Disliked · The list is quite extensive. I checked in at about 4pm on June 3 after arriving at 2 and told to come back later. Front desk staff took my luggage, tagged and stored them and told me that my things will be brought to my room as soon as the room is ready. When I returned around 4 I was given my room key and told to wait for my bags. As the rep was walking off to get my bags, I reminded her that she told me earlier that my things would be brought up to my room. She then asked me if I'd like a bellman to bring my luggage to my room, to which I said yes, you told me they'd already be in my room waiting for me. Check in is at 3pm, I checked in at 4- an hour after the room was to be ready. This irritated me because when I arrived at 2 I tipped someone $50k IDR for handling my luggage. It then took a bellman about 10/15 minutes to bring up my luggage! When I got to my room I immediately noticed three red stains on the otherwise crisp white bed sheet. These stains were up top and impossible to miss. I think they were blood stains, bleach would've removed other stains like tomato sauce plus these stains were deep red. I took a pic and went to the desk and showed them. They apologized and had the bedding changed. I wondered how could anyone dress the bed with those sheets and think it would be acceptable! I then noticed there was no coffee, only tea. The property advertised complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea. I like tea but I love coffee and so I was expecting it. After I showered and changed clothes I was heading out to see the sites. I stopped by the front desk to ask about coffee and was told that only tea is provided. I went on about my day and said nothing more about it. On June 16th my room was refreshed and as advertised, there was tea AND coffee. At some point near the last two weeks of my stay housekeeping began using dirty dishes and giving me only one bath towel when the standard had been two. This hotel offers simple but comfortable rooms in a super location just 5 minutes walk from the beach, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, markets, warungs and scooter rentals. All the staff are helpful and friendly, and Desak in reservations went out of her way to assist us.
good price, good service, good room, good staff, good location. very recommended for budget traveller, also tourist since its in the middle of attractions. the staff is also informative so you wont miss a thing.
No chit chat, one of the best hotel experience i've ever had. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Facilities is also perfect. I just had 1 cons, which i cannot vape inside the room. But still of one best budget (does not feel like one) hotel

I stayed here for a week. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked very well, something not so common in Bali. There was a strong AC, a fridge, a safebox, and complimentary drinking water was provided daily. Highly recommended!
Great location and friendly staffs . Highly hospitable and welcoming. Budget hotel but among the best amenities. Just a 5 minutes walk away from the fantabulous sandy sunset beach . Room service staffs Yasha and Roy are very precise and elegant and always did the great job .
Was greeted by friendly staff at the counter on arrival. They were also accommodating when I requested for room change, when I realised my initial room was facing the road, and I preferred a quieter room Room was simple but has ample amenities. Aircon worked well. Shower was hot enough On my wish list are a box of tissue paper and also bigger hangers Breakfast was simple as well, and we dined at a cozy dining area, with nice lights. Location was good. Only 10mins walk to kuta beach. Many convenient shops and eateries around the hotel.
I always have times to stay in Grandmas Hotel if I come to Bali from 2017. Because they always keep good standard especially in services, food, room cleanliness, strategic position, good price/ rate and the room have fully facility. Even though the interior make us feel comfortable, and the staff are friendly too, sometimes they even know our name :).
Very very very polite hotel staffs, reception, waiter, security guards,always say greetings when I pased by. Although its a small room its very clean The breakfast for 45.000 is just ok. Internet connection is standard The price of this hotel is very fair Over all its the best small hotel in Legian
