We stayed here in March 2013 for a week. Great location. Good restaurants nearby. Having two pools was great. The rooms were very basic but clean and had a nice balcony to sit out on in the evenings. Breakfast was ok with plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our toilet blocked & shower had no...

My third time at the Puri Raja and once again had the best holiday! Only a small resort but a lot to offer, rooms are simple but clean. Two pools at either end, one with swim up bar. I liked the pool at the lobby end a lot quieter. Really enjoy breakfast over looking beach, with a choice of anything...

We stayed at the Puri Raja for 6 nights. The gardens are lovely and the hotel is in a great position, near to shops, restaurants and the beach. The pool near the beach is a good size with a swim up bar and we had no trouble finding deck chairs. Breakfast is served at the restaurant overlooking the beach and,...

We recently stayed at Puri Raja for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip. I booked the deluxe room as we are travelling with our 2 year old daughter. I think the extra cost is worth it to have a bigger sized room, however the room itself still seemed a bit old and tired. For instance the bathroom and...

Had a seven night stay at the Puri Raja recently. I'll comment on just a few things that I noticed. Food: Pros - not a buffet breakfast. Order off the menu for freshly cooked food. Lots to choose from. Nice smoothies. Cons - Breakfast staff seemed keen to hurry this process and bring you everything you order at the one...

Just returned from spending 4 nights at Puri Raja. It is the second time I have stayed there. The grounds are great and very balinese, which I love. Rooms were clean and at the moment they are all getting painted which I think is needed.Towels were clean but quite thin , need replacing. Breakfast great as you are right on the...

We enjoyed our stay here, and would return. We liked the peace of this hotel, and the friendly staff. Grounds are fabulous and really well maintained. Breakfasts were good - restaurant is on the beachfront, so lovely views. Restaurant was not well used apart from breakfast time. The beach was also well maintained, and good for surfing here. Easy to...

Puri raja is ok but there is much better value for money in bali. Both pools were small, room was never cleaned well. Even on check in it was gross. We had to open the room up because it smelled bad. The wifi didnt work most of the time and when it did it was soooo slow.

This is my go-to place every time I'm in Bali (which is averaging on about twice a year). Such great value for a great location if you don't want to constantly be in the hustle and bustle that is Kuta. The facilities are great if you feel like lounging around and resting from activities, multiple pools (with a bar) and...
