We recently stayed here, but before the negative I would like to say how friendly the staff are, they are very polite and attentive to your needs. Our cleaner named Made was lovely and did a great job cleaning our room, and Ketut the bellboy was always very helpful too. Now to the negative. We booked a deluxe room and...

We've been to Bali many times. This hotel is what many other guests describe "past it's use by date".. However....... the staff were amazing. We arrived before Christmas and stayed until Jan 8. The staff were so accommodating, friendly, helpful etc. I really can't say enough good things about them. At the New Year's Eve party, After the count down,...

Have been coming to Bali for over 30 years. The Melasti is way past it's used by date. Rooms very tired (and we paid for an upgrade!!). Breakfast is very poor and staff very slow at refilling containers. Rats were visible on the grounds. The staff were generally good. Overall would recommend people choose another location.

Room was tidy, bathroom was ok. The renovations are decent. The pool is tired and so is the restaurant where you eat breakfast. Breakfast is very limited and not very tasty. Staff were friendly. It was what we needed until we left for Nusa Dua. Make sure you book directly through the hotel as the cost is less than half...

Must have stayed here about 15 times. Never again it's passed it's used by date for us Rooms are disgusting breakfast is woeful and staff are the worst I've experienced it's the only hotel on the strip that doesn't allow people access to beach. Was calling in to see friends and told by security they would show us to reception....

Staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. It's a great location and if your looking for a quick stay over its cheap and adequate - which is what we used it for - other than that it's not a "holiday" for me...too dated, too uncomfortable. I'd be more comfortable at home.

My husband and our 11 month old recently stayed at the Melasti for 2 nights before travelling to the Gili Islands. This resort has a brand new section and an old section. We stayed in the old section in a ground floor room near the pool closest to reception (room 153). The room had a huge bed, air con worked...

I've stayed here a couple of times. First time was a lagoon poolside room. The room was large and the bathroom was just ok. Enjoyed our stay. Stayed there in November and paid more thinking we would get a better room. Not the case! The bathroom was disgusting. Sink was scratched and dirty. Shower curtain had seen better days. Bathroom...

We moved here from a less desirable hotel and found it to be one of the best we have stayed at in Bali. Having been at least 20 times. will stay there again. Staff great, pool great, room greta, Location great.
