Nalini resort is a little piece of heaven! Fantastic peaceful location right on the water and with a great restaurant. It is run by a lovely family and they can also arrange excursions such as a trip on a fishing boat at sunset and an Indonesian cookery lesson which was great. There is also a little spa where we had great massages. The resort is very close to some incredible snorkelling, you can hire equipment. We didn't leave for 4 days! Very relaxing.
We had a peaceful and comfortable stay at Nalini. Ari and Januari and all the team went out of their way to make sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable time. The oceanview room was very clean with a great semi outdoor bathroom and the room and balcony had a million dollar view . The sound of the waves on the rocky beach was meditative and calming. The daily traffic of the the fishermen returning is special. Meals were very good with lots of food prepared in-house. Good snorkelling off the beach to the Japanese wreck. The on site massages were great - so good my husband always fell asleep in 5 minutes. Overall we had excellent value for money and Nalini is run by lovely caring people showing true hospitality in the spirit of Bali.. Highly recommended!
We are an Australian couple and stayed 4 nights in an ocean view suite. The room was comfortable and the bathroom enormous - partly open to the sky. The view was fantastic. The restaurant provided quality meals at a competitive price. The staff were all just great. We could not rate them highly enough. We have been coming to Amed for 10 years on and off and Will be staying at Nalini on our next visit.
We stayed 5 nights at the resort and would have stayed longer. It’s super cute and small. Rooms were a good size, clean and bedding was comfy. We stayed in the 2 garden rooms which were close to the pool. The resort is right on the beach which was lovely. We snorkelled straight off the beach and it’s an easy swim down the beach to the Japanese wreck. So many fish and such clear water. It’s also very easy for kids, our 5 & 8 year olds loved it. The resort arranged a fishing trip for my son and husband and they had a great time. The restaurant is really nice and a great place to sit and watch the ocean and boats. Although the resort is 10-15 min outside main Amed we found it to be a great location due to the snorkelling just at the beach. We also used the dive resort 2 min away (which nalini arranged and was great) and there are plenty of restaurants within 5 min most of which will come pick you up and drop you back and if not nalini resort will take you. Very nice service from everyone, I’d highly recommend this place if you’re heading to Amed area.…
We stayed here 3 nights in the pool view room which was awesome! It was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The food was FINE DINING quality! The staff was very friendly. This is a very relaxing resort and I would definitely stay here again! They have everything to offer here from spa to yoga or cooking classes , scooter rental, snorkeling equipment and scuba diving.
I had three wonderful nights at Nalini and agree with everything said in the other reviews. The staff and service were fantastic. The family all make you feel so welcome. The food at the restaurant was some of the best I’ve had in Bali, fresh and well cooked seafood. The hotel is right on crystal clear water and you can snorkel right out front. The only challenge is the stones getting into the water but I got pretty good after two days. I can’t say enough good things and I loved Amed as well. Will definitely be back.
If you look for a good place to eat well and relax your mind than Nalini Resort is the place to be . I take a ocean view room and I don’t regret at all , basically you are on top of the Ocean with infinity view, very nice and price very good too. The manager , The chef and all the staff of Nalini are super prepared and very kind , friendly and they let you feel part of the family as soon you step in their property . Bkf included was very good , coffee yes coffee can be better , maybe because I am an Italian coffee lover and the coffee must be very good and strong , I am sure that the manager will take it in consideration , Moka Machine ( italian caffettiera ) can resolve any issue . Btw I came to stay on night and it will be 2 night and 3 days 😊 Keep focus and you will get there due to your quality is good and quality always pay you back , with me already did 😊 See you soon for sure …
Nalini was by far a highlight of our trip. Located right on the beach with beautiful grounds and infinity pool, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was right above the restaurant, it was beautiful, comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was amazing! It was my birthday whilst we were there and they surprised me with a cake as well as spelling out Happy Birthday in frangipani petals on our bed. Food and drinks were delicious and very well priced. Only downside was it's a rocky beach, not sand but once you're in the water it doesn't matter anyway!
We loved this place. Very clean rooms with friendly staff, the bed was really comfy. We liked that it was somewhat out of the busier area of Amed. The water was the cleanest I have seen in Bali for swimming. Bring reef sandles as the stones are a little slippery. The breakfast was really good too. We would definitely come back .
Spent three nights here and wished we had stayed a bit longer but had to move on to the next leg of our journey to Lovina. The location is fantastic and it's great being so close to the waters edge, seeing and hearing the waves rolling in. Nalini is right on the edge and end of the very long strip generally known as Amed, so pretty much nothing to your right and not a great deal within sensible walking distance to your left. However, who cares when you are in an idyllic setting, right on the beach and staying in a very comfortable room, with good air conditioning and a great outdoor bathroom. Other benefits include snorkelling on your doorstep (a bit tricky but manageable getting in) and a short swim to the Japanese wreck to the left of the hotel. We also hired a driver one day to take us to Jemeluk Bay, which is about 8 km away and the snorkelling was fantastic. Saving best for last, we both thought the food was fantastic and the Thai fish cakes were the best we have ever had anywhere in the world. All in all we were very happy with our choice and certainly happy to recommend.…
