With the worldwide confusion as COVID hit.....Im embarrassed it took me So long to leave this review. My week long stay was cut short as I felt the need to get back to the states before my options were limited. The staff.....especially the driver Koman (spelling?) was so helpful and calming during this time.....and got me to the airport. The property was gorgeous and it is the FIRST place I plan to visit the moment I can! Just two nights there, and it has been all I can think about for nearly a year!

It really is hard to top all the wonderful reviews already given here!! Let's just say this resort has definitely earned all the praises! It has spectacular east- west views; you can watch the sunrise over Lombock and the sunset behind Mount Agung! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Sri, the staff manager, will help meet all your needs! She helped arrange on-site massages and snorkeling/ diving for us. The villa was clean and beautifully decorated. We LOVED the outdoor shower; one of a kind! We hope that someday we will make our way back to this gem!

Having just finished a South Pacific Tour of 6 weeks, the stay at Villa Canda MATAHARI was the highlight. The facility, outstanding. The location/views, beautiful. The pool and common areas, gorgeous. Our room was spotless. The food was superior. The staff was always available, providing first class service. The hotel driver was able to take us wherever we desired, making our exploration that much easier. Basically, we were pampered and embraced by the wonderful staff. This quiet and restful property is a gem. Go see for yourself!

This small, absolutely beautifully landscaped resort is a little bit of Heaven. The rooms are wonderful and the views spectacular. Located on the East side of the island in Amed its far from the big city hubbub and chaos of Denpasar. With stunning views of the Bali Sea, Mount Agung and tropical landscape this is a perfect place to get away. A Beautiful beach within short walking distance as well as a variety of very good dining establishments. Great snorkeling and diving if your so inclined The Villa's staff is out of this world. We were treated like King's and Queen's with the added bonus being they are just very thoughtful, kind and happy people. Made our visit complete. If you're looking for some adventure just book some tour's with the Villa's staff / driver. Just the drive to wherever you're going is a thrilling adventure. Driving in Bali is interesting. We took in some spectacular waterfalls and a number of absolutely beautiful Hindi culture via temples.…

I had such a sweet stay with my sister at the Villa Candi Matahari!! The views are amazing, the pool is phenomenal, and the whole villa is gorgeous!! The staff was simply exceptional. Sri, was delightful and gracious. She was so kind and ready to assist with anything we could need. Olip and Iluh greeted us with a with a warm smile every morning and made the BEST fruit pancakes I have ever had in my life!!! Unfortunately, we spent so much of our days exploring we didn’t have too much time to befriend every member of the staff, but everyone was sure to be kind and helpful!!! The rooms are so lovely and the beds are so comfy. Great restrooms, and the outdoor shower was a very nice experience. Amed is simply beautiful, but the Villa is definitely the MUST stay place on the island!!…
