It is very aptly located, away from the noisy Jemeluk area yet not too far away from everything. Best part is the access to the beach and the view. The location in front of the resort has no shops so there is not much stopping...More
This is in a fishing village outside of Amed. You can experience the real Bali -- women carrying fish baskets on their heads, men chopping rice with machetes, out of the way temples and shrines. The staff here is fabulous. Our room was immaculate, well-appointed...More

Super friendly and helpful staff made this a memorable stay. Luxurious environment and really nice rooms. Amazing snorkelling around the Japanese shipwreck. Beautiful sunrises! We will definitely stay here again next time. Say hi to Andy for me.
I had such an excellent time here. The villas are elequant and beautiful. The view of the ocean is amazing. And the staff really ties the place together because of how humble and friendly they are. I cannot wait to come back!!!

Hi there, it is possible to walk to some other places, but essentially Amed requires transport to explore and see it all. You can hire scooters from Apa Kabar, at the front desk for $5 a day and reasonably safe to get around. The other option you have with restaurants in the area is that they will pick you up and drop you back at the Villas.
There is lots to explore in the area, so a scooter is the way to go, just return it with a full tank and all will be sweet
