A great place for those who love the ocean views. There is nothing between you and the ocean. The rooms are ok, but the venue itself is exceptional. Breakfasts with a 360 degrees ocean views. And 4 minutes walk from this place is Trattoria, the best Italian food in Indonesia.

i chose this hotel for the last two days of my last Bali trip because of its location and advertised proximity to the beach as I was travelling with a friend from NYC. The rooms were spacious but my friend's shower leaked all through her wardrobe and she was not offered another room. There were also big , very big, cracks in the main pathway to the rooms which had not been fixed and the bale and steps down to the little temple were full of building debris, through there were of course still offerings. There is also another hotel being built in front of this one which will make it feel congested. The beach is one of the few in this area open to Balinese families and as a result is very, very crowded. We had an interesting walk down the hill there dodging scooters and some pleasant conversations with friendly Balinese people who were simply welcoming an not trying to connect us up with tour drivers or massage providers which was more like the Bali I remember from 20 years ago. There were stalls with a sunset amidst clouds, but living in West Australia Balinese beaches don't usually get my big tick in any case and certainly not this one. There is a restaurant called the Fat Hog !! next door which has nice views with beautifully served and delicious seafood. We liked the place despite the name. It was a longer more congested trip from Karangasem to the airport than coming direct from Ubud so all in not really a good idea.

Villa infinity horizon is a hidden gem to stay here in Amed. It’s serene with a perfect view over the Indian ocean. Friendly atmosphere and the rooms are just top. Great service always with a smile. Amed area is perfect for snorkelling/diving or just to escape the hectic places for total relaxation.

Lovely serene spot. Rooms well appointed but not over done, breakfast is as ordered from menu, well presented and oh so fresh. Would not recommend for children under 6 as there are no barrier rails on terraces also many stairs to reach room level and more to fantastic infinity pool and breakfast area. No TV,s, ah peace. Reasonable distance from A med so consider bringing reasonable amount of cash as there are no ATM,s in this area but lots of very reasonably price places to eat as well as other water attractions. The staff at this establishment are excellent and ready to assist at all times. No hesitation in recommending. Peter Australia

The pictures say it all. Villa Infinite Horizon is exactly like the pics.....hang on...no it isnt......its actually BETTER! Its on our permanent list from now on when we are in Amed. My recommendation is to book at least 2 nights. We only had time for one night which was a massive shame. Another night or two would have been heaven! Staff are lovely and food is great! Perfection!

Stayed 4 nights here. The pictures online do not lie everywhere you look is uninterrupted ocean veiws. If your looking for that one place to unwind and read a book or chill buy the pool this is it. Wifi dropping in and out was very annoying. Interesting to watch the he local fishermen daily. The Staff are excellent and very helpful. Breakfast is decent.

The place is exotic and the views of the sea quite unparalleled . The breakfast is pretty awesome too . The only thing I would not recommend are the beds. Two twins joined to make a king and poor quality of the mattresses . Wish they could upgrade the mattresses .

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Villa Infinite and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful and helped us organise scooters that were delivered to our door in around 5 minutes! The breakfast included in our was also lovely with a number of options to choose from off the menu. There is also the opportunity to have dinner on your balcony however we did not do this with a different special each evening. What you cannot not help notice is the VIEW. It’s insane. Sunset and sunrise equally as beautiful and the infinity pool is hands down one of the nicest I have been to. All the villas face the same way and therefore the view is the same throughout so would not matter which villa you are given. There are only four villas so the pool and atmosphere is always quiet and private. The inside of the villas are decorated with a few nice quirks that makes the place it’s own. The villa was extremely clean and we were provided clean towels on two separate occasions over only a three night stay. We actually tried to extend our stay by a night however the villas were booked. Amed itself is a lovely beach front town/village with lots of diving and snorkelling. The Villas are in a very good location, only a 2 minute scooter ride to the Japanese Shipwreck for snorkelling and around 6km coastal ride to the main town with plenty of little restaurants and cafes along the way. Will be recommending this little slice of paradise to everyone!

The Villa Horizon has plenty to offer for your consideration in Amed. There are only 4 good size, reasonably well equipped and well maintained rooms. It has a delightful infinity pool which is never overcrowded given the number of rooms. The room has a good size terrace. The terrace has a small table, 2 dining chairs and 2 smallish lounge type chairs that were comfortable. The view is the highlight as you have no interruption out to sea, with plenty of boats and ships sailing past. It also has a fan. The light on the terrace is too bright and over illuminates the neighbour room. I would recommend getting a. Softer lower watt bulb and it would also be more romantic. The bathroom has all you need, including a small fridge. The shower takes a while to build up temperature but the pressure in our room was fine. The bedroom is of a good size, plenty of room for two, a big King bed and mosquito net. It was Asian hard mattress and only a sheet. there is an inefficient kettle that takes ages to boil. there is an in room safe but no tv. The wifi was strong enough to stream Netflix if you need that sort of entertainment. There are 3 acceptable restaurants within 5 minutes walk either way. The best is Tratorria Cucina, an Italian chain restaurant. The food here is of a good to excellent standard. We ate several times, some dishes were as good as we have eaten some though were not as successful. The clam pasta and eggplant parmigiana were tops. The Aquaterrace and the Blue Moon Villas restaurants were also ok. There is snorkelling below the VH pool. To get there is a very steep and number of stairs. The water was crystal clear but everyday was quiet windy and the waves made it tricky getting in and out. In calm weather it would be much better. there is also the Japanese wrec area only about 600 m away which has ok snorkeling also. The breakfast is good at the VH but the meals we had for lunch were just 2 to 3 at best. The prices were low though. I cannot fathom the prices quoted on Booking . Com for full board at the hotel. They are ridiculous and ignore. The hotel has a couple of issues that if rectified would make a big difference. - The pool lounges are too hard for old western bodies like ours. The white ones are just too thin. The 2 blue lounges were just acceptable. Replace the lounges with newer thicker lounges! - The AC is passed its use by date in the room we had. If you are there when it is really hot you would probably just get the room to barely a cool level. - The kettle needs replacing. Finally if you have any mobility issues the number of stairs to your room from the road and to the pool plus the steepness of them will be an issue for you! Overall, highly recommended for a very relaxing and pleasant stay in Amed.

This villa consisting of 4 rooms all facing the sea is truly a wonderful place to stay in Amed. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with amenities that one would need but the highlight is the absolutely awesome view from the room and one of the finest infinity pools you will come across. All in all a great place to stay in Amed.
