The bungalow was very big and had a lovely sea view. It was impeccably clean and the shower had hot water. As it was low season the place seemed very empty and I would recommend visiting Amed in high season. The area around the hotel is not so nice although you would not notice that from within the hotel itself.... More

First of all, they send a driver to the airport to pick you up, which is wonderfully helpful and he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He wound up driving us around the island a few days later, showing us the highlights and explaining the history, which was part of a package that included a sunset cruise and an oil... More

The driver met me at the airport, was very friendly and helpful (which is good, as it's a long way!) The staff were lovely and caring. My room was big and nice and really really near the water. The restaurant is good, but not fabulous. And, it's a big covered patio - so you are not separated from the gorgeous... More

Stayed here for 1 night on the pass true to Gili islands. The hotel is OK. It is cottage style, and the garden reaches up to the beach and sea. It has a nice large pool, and nice accomodations in the garden. So why only average : - we booked the standard room, which was titled 'room with fan' but... More

after 7 days in Seminyak, we moved to Amed and the Hotel Uyah and redeemed our holiday. We stayed here for 6 nights. The rooms are not plush but they are very comfortable and spacious, and the location next to the beach is wonderful. It is quiet and peaceful and beautiful with a black volcanic rock beach and a backdrop... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a 3 week holiday in Bali. The hotel isn't the Ritz Carlton but I was surprised at how nice it was for the money we paid. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and modern but traditional bathrooms with good powerful showers with hot water. Air conditioning power seems to vary from room... More

The hotel is situated right next to the beach and the Café Garam features a salt production. The hotel features 2 pools (a little contradictory to their eco-friendliness) and a ping-pong table. The hotel uses solar panels to heat the warn water. The rooms are spacious and bright and have a very nice bathroom. They have plenty of towels and... More
