Amazing stay! The room is really good, has everything you need and we loved that you could drink the water from the tap (they have a own well). Great pool right at the sea. The staff and owner are really nice, very friendly and very respectful giving your privacy. Would definitely stay here again!
After having stayed at 3 different hotels before spending a few nights at Bukit Segara, and having stayed at two more since, I can safely say this is the best accommodation we've had in Bali : - the staff are simply adorable. Never pressing, always present. Always with a smile, and ready to go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can possibly be. - the location is perfect. 10min scooter ride away from Amed/Tulamben, you're close to everything, yet away from the noise and effervescence of it all - the infinity pool and the view from the terrace/dining area are simply breathtaking - the restaurant is of the highest quality, and the prices are reasonable - put on your mask and tuba, walk 5 meters, dive, and you're in the corral reef. - the "small" scale of the Villa gives both a sense of exclusiveness to it all, and allows the staff to create a real personal experience. "Good morning mister Ronan" is so much more pleasant than "good morning sir, room number please ?" - the green/eco-friendly approach (special mention to the Villa's own water-filtering system, allowing you to brush your teeth "from tap" and not from water bottles like in all other hotels we stayed at) It's simple, really : I am typing this review from the Hilton Nusa Dua, 5 stars hotel and twice as expensive. I wish I had planned the trip differently, and stayed in Bukit Segara for the remaining of our tour of Bali. Truly a wonderful experience, absolutely nothing negative to say.…
This is just a perfect villa. On a short stay to explore Amed, we definitely could have stayed longer. So beautiful, so relaxing. The staff are excellent and the food is very good. We didn’t leave the villa grounds at all!! Highly, highly recommend this villa.
Went sailing with the trimaran. Was a lot of fun being out on the water and experiencing a traditional but refitted sailing boat. Mount Agung is even nicer when looked at over the blue waves of the Indian ocean. Got a tour of the property and the new villas under construction too as well as the baby bunnies and the cows. Lovely experience. Gonna be back
We are a travel agent in Bali. We have made a booking at this hotel for our guests, for the period of August 2020. Due to COVID-19, our client could not come, so we decided to postphone the trip to 2021. As until now the borders are still closed, and our guests could not come this year, they decided to cancel their trip and ask for a refund. When we contacted the hotel and asked for a refund, they were understand, very helpful and willing to do it. We have now received a 100% refund of the deposit we paid. We are very satisfied and really appreciate this commercial gesture. In the future, we will not hesitate to work with this very professional hotel again. Thank you Villa Bukit Segara !
We were pleased with our stay 110%. Hotel is managed by the owner himself who lives right there. Its well maintained and the pool overlook8ng the ocean is just gorgeous. We have been greeted and welcomed so warmly that, seriously we felt like we were visiting our relatives ). The room was big and modern. Perfect views. I could snorkel right from the rocks at the front of the hotel. Our son absolutely loved the fact that there are many animals he could play or observe. A friendly dog, gorgeous cat, ducks, roosters, rabbits and even a cow! Nothing was a problem for the staff. They even did babysitting with our son when my husband went diving and I wanted to go out snorkeling. But what we found the most astonishing is that the owner takes such a good care of his staff. Due to pandemic he managed to get them all occupied by working on construction of new villas at the resort. This is to ensure ALL of them have still income coming and no one loses the job. So by booking this hotel you can be sure, money you spend on accommodation will be used to help locals and local community. Please don't hesitate. You won't regret! Guaranteed!!!…
Whether for a diner or for a sailing experience, Derk and his crew set the standards very high for an affordable price in a chilled out atmosphere! Let's not forget, the location, the view, the facilities the design, well, congratulations and many thanks!
We just came back from Bali. I haven't had the opportunity to write any reviews about it -and this is the first place that I feel drawn to write about. The villa is fantastic. Perched over the ocean, it feels completely private. There are only about 5 suites. The one we stayed, in the west wing, was phenomenal. Huge windows, super spacious, with our own walk in closet and a den open to the ocean. The food is great, the rooms are great, the pool is great. 3 of the things that really stood out for me: 1. Fantastic design and very tasteful art. Clean lines, with beautiful pieces of local art and furniture. Beautiful 2. Serenity and an appreciation for quiet. No unnecessary music or flashy-ness 3. All the staff lives in the property and transmit genuine care and kindness. I was especially struck by Barry -if anybody reads this from Bukit Segara, please give him out regards. …
This place is truly amazing and so beautiful. We found it by chance looking for dinner to pay with a credit card. Not only did we find that, but also amazing, helpful, friendly staff, amazing guests and a place we never wanted to leave. Truly a gem.
I visited Amed to attend diving courses and by chance I discovered this amazing place. I visited the restaurant and enjoyed the amazing view and excellent service. I had a wonderful experience thanks especially to Wayan, he gave me alot of info about the hotel and restaurant and few advices about Amed and what to do around. I will definitely visit the villa again !
