We spent 4 nights at this homestay. Wayan & his wife are nice and helpful, the room had air-condition and a fan. From our room we had a beach view, which was really cozy. Good breakfast and food at the warung (awesome fish) and they have snorkeling equipment for rent, if you go just 10m into the water you see a lot of colorful fish and a little underwater-temple. They also helped us organize a scooter for driving around in the area, and on our last evening we drove out on the ocean with wayans boat to see the sunset from there. I think we wouldn't have found anything this nice at the beach for that good price :) Really recommend this place to everyone & can't wait to go back there!!

Great budget place to stay with family atmosphere. Basic room/amenities, good hot water/good bed/good aircon. Snorkelling straight out front is extremely good with all sorts of fish and clear water. Great restaurant, lovely food, good prices.Will be back.

Basic but clean room, with aircon, great location by the beach (relax on the sun beds or enjoy great snorkelling just a few meters away). Very friendly owners, preparing delicious meals at their restaurant... I had a very relaxing time, thank you for the warm welcome :-)

If you are chasing budget beachfront in Jemeluk Bay then this would be your choice. Currently building a new warung beside the two units which is a little disruptive however owners say this will only take 6 weeks. Once completed the homestay will be able to offer better breakfast choices than current toast or pancakes. Staff were friendly, rooms cleaned daily. Good bed and efficient air conditioner. Bathroom basic and clean. Would stay here again for the location and price.

I stayed here with my partner for 6 nights in August. The bungalow (Number 2, adjacent to the Blue Star main building) and the staff were fantastic. It is situated at the far right-hand side of the bay before you go up the hill, with the veranda right on the beach. We arrived without a reservation and paid 300kR a night (breakfast was included). The restaurant offered snorkelling gear (well worth the money) and was very well priced. It was absolute bliss and we would definitely go there again.

Just stayed one night, the room was literally 10 steps to the beach. We stayed in room 2. There was a fan and aircon. The bathroom was very basic and the day we were there, there was no hot water. It also has open ventilation so in the wet season may have problem with mosquitos (though the owner provides coils) . The owners were non obtrusive. Breakfast of tea, coffee toast or pancake was provided on the patio. Nothing fancy but we enjoyed it thoroughly.
