We had 5 nights at Bamboo Bali and we had a room on the beach. There are 4 on the beach and the rest are on the other side of the road and up a small hill. Our room had 2 huge double beds, big bathroom and a large patio area with a sun bed, outdoor furniture, table and a clothes rack. Breakfast was included so we just walked over to the restaurant. Breakfast is made to order and the omelette is delicious. Also great were the pancakes. Very friendly staff that can arrange tours, drivers, snorkeling gear, dives etc. Our bungalow on the beach was about 10 metres from the water. You can snorkel straight off the beach. There are restaurants and supermarkets all around. No fridge or kettle in the room but we made do buying ice and drinks and storing it in a freezer bag we took with us. I also bought cups of tea from the Warung next door for 70 cents (AUD). The room would easily sleep a family of four. We did use the pool that was up the hill and it overlooks Amed. Just beautiful. Our wifi was also very good as we were the only ones using it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will head back as soon as travel restrictions are lifted again.…

I stayed at the cheaper rooms directly on the beach which was just fantastic. Hot water, Aircon and wifi all working perfectly and although rooms are rustic very comfortable with plenty of shelves, hanging space etc and cleaned daily. Staff all super attentive and any even minor request attended to immediately. Nice included breakfast served across the road in main building. Terrace had comfortable cushioned easy chairs and a sun lounger. After moving from a hideous experience at Jemeluk homestay this place was heaven.

Very good place to stay, clean, tide, good size rooms. Yummy breakfast and large pool. We stayed with 2 kids, and had were very satisfied with experience. The beach is just 1 minute away, and they have yummy warung just across the road. Very good seafood selection.

Perfect spot to explore Jemeluk’s bay with amazing snorkeling for kids (no waves, living aquarium 10m from the shore). The bungalows are comfortable and clean, offering a nice view, nice terrace with hamac and nice pool. Very friendly staff. A good address in Amed !
