We were the first people to stay here post pandemic closure. This family run homestay is basic, but clean and very good value for money. The bed was comfortable and clean. The a/c cooled the room well if you need a bit of cooling off after a day diving or hiking in the hot sun. The shower had plenty of hot water and the breakfast was basic but tasty. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Some were closed and others just getting started post pandemic. As with most locals in Bali the family has turned to fishing to support themselves during hard times. If you are on a budget and want to give back to the beautiful island of Bali stay here and experience real Balinese hospitality and friendship. Rocky the dog will greet you with a friendly wag of his tail and make you feel part of the family as soon as you arrive.…
I arrived there and realized I booked for June instead of May but the guy was really nice and just charged me the price for that time cause the dates I booked supposed to be high season. The place was really clean! The hot water worked good! The view from my room was AWESOME! Really couldn’t asked for more! They have the drying racks to dry my stuff after dive. And it was really nice! They serve breakfast from 07.30 and has quite varieties of them. I liked their vegetable omelette. The family that owns the place was really friendly and nice. I really enjoyed my stay there!
Just great. It was a paradise for us as we were returning every day for lunch. Love the tempeh curry. So tasty, and so friendly. Rocky is such a brave guy. Highly recommended! Best place. Thanks a lot! DIta
This was my favorite spot I stayed in Bali. Unfortunately I was ill with a bad cold the entire time I was here! But having a peaceful and private bungalow with an ocean view certainly helped. There was good wifi service--unlike other places I stayed around Bali. The family is nice and friendly and they take good care of the rooms and the surrounding gardens. If I ever return to Bali I'd stay here again.
After having made a shortlist of places to stay I stumbled upon Ary Homestay and was immediately 'sold'! What a lovely place and warm welcome by the owner. As it's low season and due to Agung, I got a very special rate for a lovely room with (partial) seaview for only Rp 120k including a great breakfast!
Warung Ary is a good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the place is a bit away from the busy street. You can rent scooter and snorkeling equipment. The breakfast is tasty and good for a start in the day. The best are the large bungalows. They are very clean and everyday comes the cleaning service. You have a huge room, a super comfy bed with mosquito net and a big private bathroom. All in all the perfect stay for the price in Amed. It's worth the money.
All the room are really great , with sea view. They also rent motorbikes. Breakfasts is really nice, with many options. Family own business. We really liked it ! Great place and great price! If we go back to Amed we would definitely go back to Warung ARI.
We stayed for one night to catch the boat to Gili T! We stayed in room one and the view was amazing! There's lots of big steps to get the rooms, it might be hard if you have a difficult time walking. The staff were friendly. We weren't a huge fan of the food served at the restaurant, but it's convenient to get! Make sure to check out the sunset restaurant at the top of the hill!
The bungalows have a nice view of the ocean, they are clean and cleaned regularly. Spacious bathrooms. The staff is friendly and one of the cheapest bike rentals, 60k per day. They also serve food, which is ok.
What a great little spot! For only $15USD a night, you get your own bungalow with an ocean view, AC, hot water and free breakfast. It's an incredible deal. Very fast wifi too if you're doing any work during your trip. The rooms were really nice and clean, the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English well. You can rent a motorbike and set up any diving or activities through the owner. Our room was cleaned every day we were there. The onsite restaurant is also good and very cheap. Because of the way Amed is spread out, you'll probably have to rent a motorbike no matter where you stay if you want to explore the area. Warung Ary is close to pretty much everything you need.
