We recently spent 3 nights at Tradisi villas with family and friends. The location is perfect, beachfront. The villas also have a lovely pool. You can snorkel right in front of the villas and a short walk along the beach in either direction takes you to other reef spots. Villas are very clean and can easily accommodate a family of 4. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very nice. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Amed
Tradisi is literally next door to the villa in which we are staying. Tradisi Villa restaurant made the best food we have eaten during our ten days in Bali!. We tried the Grilled Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce and the Fisherman’s Platter. We also got spaghetti for the grandkids. The portions were huge by Bali standards and the plates were beautiful in presentation. Particularly impressive was the sweet and sour sauce... not like the thick sauce you find in most American Chinese restaurants, but light and delicate. They graciously delivered the meal to our villa. We are going to their place tonight to sample more from their menu. 😋
We were staying at another hotel just out of town and decided that we wanted to stay another night but closer to town.We walked along the beach and found many good hotels but just loved the feel of Tradisi.Beachfront rooms with a pool.Traditional style with no frills but a huge fridge, double bed with mozie net,2 single beds upstairs,TV but only with Indonesian channels, air conditioning which wasnt strong but cooled the room enough.Shower didnt have hot water but it was fine as it was so hot in Amed that a cool shower was bliss.Internet was good and didnt drop out.The staff were great, food in the restaurant was really good and good prices. No kettle in your room but I asked if there was any hot water for a cup of tea at sunrise and they said they could organise a thermus to be put on our table for the next morning.Breakfasts were basic with a fruit platter, juice and choice of Indonesian breakfast or eggs. Not huge but way big enough for us.You can snorkel right off your beach but better snorkelling maybe 200m into Jemeluk Bay.It was just such a peaceful spot to sit for hours watching the beach and the comings and the goings of the locals. We will stay here again in May.Kari organised transport back to Legian for us at a great price too. They can get drivers for day trips at a reasonable price also.…
Whilst the position of this accommodation is excellant, the staff great, the place needs a HUGE revamp. Breakfast is very average. WE found Warung Enuk 5 mins walk. Great food, very clean and staff good as well.
My family and me really enjoyed staying in Tradisi this November- perfect time for travelling around bali: not so many tourists and prices go down. We stayed in villa nr. 1 facing the ocean, which was our favorite thing about this place. The rooms are clean and everything from AC to fridge works perfectly. Pool is a little small but still good enough for refreshing.
We stayed here one night because our B&B messed up our booking and put us here for the first night of our stay. The villas are large and have all the basics, although on a closer look they are a bit tired. It's more functional than charming. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable enough although a little on the hard side. Tradisi has a lovely seafront location with a swimming pool behind the beach. We didn't go in, but it seemed to be in use a lot of the time so must have been doing the job. I agree with other reviewers that the breakfast isn't good. The bacon in particular tasted of nothing and neither of us could eat it. The restaurant also has a nice seafront location and view. The front of house staff member was a credit to the villas, and was friendly and welcoming. They were very accommodating and helped our luggage be moved back to the original villa the next day. Overall I give 3 stars to factor in the good location. However, the breakfast would get no more than 2 stars. We didn't pay full-price because our original villa paid the extra for us to stay here as it was their booking mistake. I believe it was 300k IDR more, and I'm certainly glad we weren't paying that ourselves as I would have felt it was a bit expensive for the quality, compared to other places we started.…
$40 a night beach front you can't beat it..Not the Ritz but very clean, comfortable bed and very friendly helpful staff. Nice pool..So so food but many places near by that will send a free car to get you..Santia,Gouchos,Warung enak..My friend lost his dive card and money clip with $800 And the staff were very concerned..He found it but I truly believe they would have returned it if they found it..14 night and never locked my door..Great location..I would stay there again for sure..
I like that it was on the beach and tradisional bali, very quite hotel breakfast was average, big room, staff were helpful and friendly and good snorkeling in front of villa and swimming pool from which you can see beach.
This is a well appointed hotel by Amed standards within this price range. We stayed new years eve with friends, and came back again in february with family. The rooms are pretty good but reccomend one of the three beach front villas. Pool could do with some more chlorine, and some of the staff probably need a little training, but what do expect in a locally run establishment here in bali -. We had a toilet flush that didnt work, so the hotel guy gave us a bucket lol The wifi is quite good which is always a problem in bali. A short walk down the beach will find you a better range of food, but totally reccomend the vege omlette on offer for breakfast here
I stayed here with my wife and 9-month old son for a few days. The hotel is beachfront with a well-kept pool just steps from the sand abutting the restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in Amed, and the staff were delightful and absolutely loved playing with our son to the point where they would essentially babysit while we ate!! While our room wasn't beachfront, we did have an ocean view. It was also bigger than expected, very clean and well kept with a strong AC. Also, we had surprisingly good wifi reception.
