Kura Kura Divers Lodge was our home for two months, and that not without reason. The hotel is brand new and super clean with all the amenities you could ask for, be it a short or long term stay. The rooms are designed with practicality and comfort in mind. From USB sockets to reading lamps by your bed, from water kettle to mini fridge, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What we loved and appreciated most was the quality of the mattress and bedding, something not easy to find in this price range. Undoubtedly the best value for money in Amed area, highly recommended! Thank you Birger and the entire staff for making us feel home, hope to see you again!

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights during our Open Water Dive course. Overall it was a pleasant and definitely worth the money. It doesn't has a beach view (but who cares if you spend most of the day diving anyway, you'll want to be in your comfy room after your dive). It has a nice bar & restaurant with good local and Belgium beers, and also billiard table :) The breakfast was good, but would be better though if we could have the coffee from the coffee machine, instead of 'kopi tubruk' which has coffee grounds in it (well, you can always get good coffees at nearby cafes anyway) The room is spacious and clean, it's air-conditioned, has hot water shower and daily cleaned (that's what important to us), plus the staffs made us feel welcomed here. Location wise, it is quite strategic, you can go the the beach, restaurants and beach side cafes within minutes by walking or motorcycle drive. If you stay here, go for Warung Enak (great local food!) and Blue Earth Village to watch sunsets (also great western and local food). It's not perfect in every way, like I've described above, but if you are looking for 'value for money' stay during your dive trips, this is the place you'd want stay, all things considered it's worth 5/5 points.

Definitely recommended if you're planning to stay around Amed Bali. Hopefully this review will help you to make the right choice. Best regards, Gde & Celline

I stayed for 3 night here. It was an unforgettable experience. Their service is very friendly, staffs are good, and the manager (Birger) was also very good with me even though I had many requests. Nothing negative and I really loved it. The room is comfy and unique. The price doesn't lie to you. All worth it!
