The complex is very nice at first glance, but could do with some renovation. The apartment is very large and has air conditioning, a kettle, a fridge and water. Unfortunately, when I was putting the fridge away, the holder in the door fell out and so did my beer, which then ended up all over the floor. Help came quickly, but no new beer🤷♂️... the pool is OK, a bit small and the number of loungers is manageable considering the number of rooms. We ran out of space and there were only a few guests in the hotel. The snack at lunchtime from the restaurant was so-so and not cheap for local standards. The "beach" is made of stones and cannot be used without sturdy shoes. The staff is friendly!

The massages are available at the pool, very good and relaxing due to the sound of the waves. The food is nice. The rooms are clean. It's old. You can book a diving excursion through the hotel. The Sunset Point beach bar is definitely not to be missed, you pay entrance fee for what you can use for consumption. It's a fair price.

Spent 3 days researching locations for this long awaited adventure to Bali. Landed on starting in Amed to dive the USS Liberty Shipwreck and this location was listed as being on the beach, pics looked nice and it advertised as being connected to a Dive Shop. Which it once was, and may be again but wasn't at the time. They were great about helping arrange tours and I'd already made plans with the Dive Shop that was listed as being at the resort... but was a couple miles away. Their restaurant had a good selection of local meals and was also at the beach. Breakfast being included made an easy start to the day. Nice little town, good spot to tour Mt. Agung and drive to hike to Yeh Mempeh Waterfall. Tons of Dive Shops and small interesting places to eat and shop. Much less expensive than anyplace we went to next. And we left from here to experience Temples and nature of Ubed on our way to Canggu in the south. Only warnings would be the nail in the swimming pool that the know is sticking out, that they use to attach a light underwater and to be sure any driver you, or they, arrange really speaks English. We ended up doing a 2 mile hike uphill without water because the driver pointed to a Temple just at the road, and when asked said "it's right there" when it was miles uphill! We also drove to a completely different Temple than the one we wanted. All avoidable with better communication.

Now I can't tell you how the hotel is doing in the summer. But when we arrive we are the only guests in the hotel. We are a family of four, two children of eleven and six years, respectively. The children had their own bungalow despite having a family room. But if we wanted it to make an upgrade and pay extra for it... Again we were the only ones in the whole hotel... when we then get into the room it is pretty nussed and with mold in the bathroom and the bed linen smelled the ground. The pool was filled with leaves, cat leaves in the walking areas to the pool and the restaurant cost the same as at home in DK We immediately called our travel agent who got us moved to Coral View Villas which have the same rank, but in our opinion is 1000 times better!! I can in no way recommend Aray Amed Beach Resort...

We booked 2 rooms but we found different facilities at the same category! On the day we checked in we found 1 room with broken TV and another one NONE! And there's no Telepon in the room so we had to go and back by our self to the reception to get an Assistant. on the next day morning the electricity went off for about more then an hour, so we decided to ask to the reception at 8 am in the morning, we have to stand the for more less 20 minutes without a clue due there's NO STAFF at their desk, then the staff came without any apologies! We decided to go to the restaurant for breakfast while waiting for the electricity. Then the electricity went on after we had breakfast for only 39 minutes and went off again for more then 2 hours. Then we came to the reception again and ask to the staff, I was surprised that the staff response like it's not their mistakes while his feet on the long table! So we can't stay in the room due the room was to hot without the Aircon.

Very unprofessional, I had booked a room for 16 - 18 but it was canceled unilaterally with 3 options which in my opinion could not answer my problem, because I brought guests, for various reasons while the voucher had been issued. I really don't recommend it, it's not fair for me because at the moment it's high season, all the rooms are full and I was notified on H-1, and I brought guests for diving. I was really at a loss because of this, sudden events like this I can't find a hotel anymore which meets the standards, please think again before choosing this hotel so that you are not disadvantaged

Have stayed here before. This used to be a 4 Star hotel but unfortunately, without a Manager, it barely achieves 3 Stars. The location is great, the setting is spacious and green but it desperately needs a major renovation. Many of the walls, external and some of the internal bathroom walls are covered in black mould. Many of the outdoor light fittings need replacement. And the menu needs some more variety, especially at breakfast. The phones in the room don’t work. It’s hard to recommend this hotel. The staff are wonderful, but desperately lack leadership. The prices are reasonable.

This used to be excellent. The location is great, the staff are friendly and the rooms are comfy. But it desperately needs an on site manager. There is black mould everywhere. There are patches of mould in all rooms, not always easily discernible. Dogs run around on the premises, sometimes at night.

Welcome to the Pension the worst we've had. Personnel we have the Impression of disturbing. Breakfast more than basic and if unfortunately you ask for a bag of sugar in addition the reproving looks await you. Now let's tackle the subject that annoys hygiene, gray sheets, non-existent cleaning, mosquito net with holes that would let an airbus pass, quality of bedding barely passable, disgusting bathroom.Air conditioning that would make you pass a very zen airport runway. When at the back of the rooms you will judge on photo. To sum up, go your way.

We have stayed here innumerable times as this is a comfortable, well designed complex with a lovely pool area. The staff are friendly, obliging and always helpful. However, since COVID, the Manager has not been replaced and it desperately needs one to return it to its previous high standard. The standard of the food can be variable. The walls surrounding the complex are covered in mould as are some of the outdoor showers of the bungalows. The staff are too busy to notice these things that might need affect tourists. We will definitely be back but please try to find another Manager, even if part time.

Got a car and a driver from hotel and took 2 hours from airport and costed 600000 rupiahs which is less than 20€, so nothing. And the driver is great, I recommend to use Wayan on your trips. Great guy.
There are more places to choose from in the Amed area.
