Everything is perfect! You must book this hotel. The staff are very friendly. The pool, garden are very nice and clean. The room is enough big, and bathroom too, and very clean. The bed is very comfortable, and climatisation works very well.

Hidden paradise in Amed

This hidden resort with only 4 bungalows must be so close you can come to a paradise on earth. The bungalows are spacious with an amazing outdoor bathroom. Inside there is a closet with a safety box, a large and comfortable bed and a fridge with a minibar. There is a wonderful and well kept garden with a very nice pool area and sun beds. The pool area have a view of the holy and massive Mount Agung in one side and green hills at the other sides. A tip is to bring your own flashlight because to road to the resort is very dark at night. The most amazing are the kind, helpful and caring staff. They will gladly take care of everything for you. We had an extra early breakfast several times during our stay and there was never an issue. They arranged airport transfers, cooking class and made some really nice decorations for my mothers birthday. They also take the time to know you and share their stories. We’re asked to join them on a huge Bali celebration due to the Bali new year (silence day) but the celebration was cancelled due to the Corona virus 😔 This is without doubt to most wonderful and amazing resort I’ve ever stayed at. …

The best accommodation we've had in SE Asia

Absolutely loved this place. By far the best accommodation we've had in SE Asia. Rooms were impeccable, bed really comfortable, aircon worked perfect and the outdoor bathroom was a dream come true. Breakfast by far the best we've had in Bali. So colourful and tasty. Gardens and swimming pool were so well kept and a delight to be in. All staff were extremely nice and helpful. Not a bad thing to say! Would definitely recommend this place to stay, and we hope we can be back. Only downside is the road from the main road, unlit and very bumpy.

Simply amazing!

We spent 4 nights at Kubu Kangin and we had an incredible stay. The place is perfect if you want to relax and the all the staff is so welcoming, friendly and always ready to help you whenever you need anything. The breakfast was delicious and the whole place is really well looked after in every single detail. We'll surely be back next time in Bali.

Amazing small resort

Kubu Kangin Resort just opened 4 month ago. You will need to take a small unpaved road (but just 200m). Once you enter the yard it feels like a little paradise. Everything totally clean, in very good condition (as the resort is brand new), arranged with much attention to details. Every day you see the staff preparing the garden & cleaning it from fallen leaves as it is sometimes windy in Amed region. The bungalows are all wooden with an exterior bathroom (every bungalow got its own bathroom) at the back. The specialty of the bathroom: its outdoor. So enjoy a shower under the stars when it is dark ;-) The cottages are a little bit noisy (means you hear the surrounding Sounds of the nature more clear) due to wind in the night or the chicken screaming in the morning. But all no problem, you will sleep relaxed;-) The pool in the middle of the garden is bigger than expected & arranged very nice. All trees (partly with growing fruits) and flowers look great which makes you feel relaxed & makes you calm down. Breakfast is very tasty and served either at the veranda of the reception or the veranda of your apartment (so both options with garden view). For dinner you need to go down into the village as they are creating a dinner menu card right now and it is not ready yet. Way to the village & beach is 400m. If you would like go snorkeling or to another beach near by the owner is pleased to help you with recommendations & (in our case) even offered a moto bike transfer to the beach. In total, he and his colleagues have been totally friendly & helpful all the time. We had great 2 nights & recommend staying here.…
