Le meilleur rapport qualité/prix
Idéalement situé. A deux minutes à pied de la plage et d'un centre de plongé au top, Calypso. Un seul dortoir, avec une belle terrasse d'où vous pourrez profiter d'un beau coucher de soleil. Pti dej gratuit, thé et café en accès libre toute la journée. Ambiance détendue et familiale. Chloé et son mari sont pleins de bons conseils. Les bémols: un WIFI un peu faible, pas de rideaux aux lits et un refill water un peu cher.

absolutely recommended
Awesome hostel, definitely recommended. Everything is very new. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Beautiful terrace with sunset view to the volcano. Friendly stuff. Little things to improve: breakfast, bigger lockers, a more comfortable lounge on the terrace, hot showers.

Simple and clean
I stayed at Black Sand Hostel for 5 nights. I enjoyed the stay. The dorm is clean and simple. There are lockers. It gets really hot though. The dorm has a flat roof and only 2 fans. Airconditioning would make it way better. The hostel is in a good location in Amed, restaurants and shops nearby. The hostel has a beautiful view on the mountains. The owner Guna and his wife are really nice. I had been sick for a few days and Guna made sure I was okay. The two guys working there are kind, too. Their English isn't great though, which made it difficult to arrange things. A text or a call to the owner was easily done and everything worked out fine.
