We stayed for 3 nights to make us of the beach and snorkelling. The staff were all really helpful (Agus even took me to the cash machine in the village on his scooter!). The rooms were clean and comfortable, the restaurant OK (breakfast is pretty basic) and the pool was great. Better still you can go snorkelling in a coral reef at the end of the garden. Best of all were the epic sunrises viewed from the first floor balcony or the beach. The place is lovely and tranquil and great value for money.
Birds and the bees I was expecting so much more given the terrific reviews, however we have found it very disappointing. Breakfast very limited. Staff inattentive and it feels like we are an inconvenience to their day. Very poor water pressure and we only get one hot shower before the water runs out. Rooms are lovely and spacious and beautifully presented on arrival. Lovely big balcony area but it looks onto a wall of the neighbouring property. The gardens are nice and will be much better when they are more established. Some tinting on the windows would be nice to give more privacy as the paths are very close and you tend to feel very exposed. We were only given two small bottles of water for the total of four nights and i was constantly asking the kitchen staff for water refills . If they are not providing water daily it would be beneficial to provide water at the office to refill when needed. Most guests we spoke to agreed that most tourists such as ourselves were trying to reduce their plastic consumption while visiting Bali and were willing to utilise water refill stations. Can not comment on the meals as we only had breakfast. The accommodation is in a lovely area on the beach but much work by staff and attention to detail would be beneficial. …
Hotel located in the beach with only 5/6 villas. Staff helpful and smiley. Breakfast quite limited but tasty. Tv didn't work in our room end up not being a major problem for us. Wifi could be better. Add more alternatives for breakfast and improve the quality/looks of the facilities would be nice. Overall was a nice experience nothing over the top.
Very friendly staff. Very nice and not pushy at all. They were so nice that they put you in a relaxing holiday mode. They even decorated our room with flowers in an excellent way. Their toilet and sink is indoors and shower outdoorsy. But very nice. The hotels itself is amazing.. There are only 4 rooms... On the beach. Very clean and spacious. Cleanliness was a priority for us and this hoyrl didn't disappoint. The hotels location is in an excellent beach on the main strip called lipah Beach. You can snorkel on this beach just outside your hotel. And spas and retardants are around this are.. Very live area. Breakfast was excellent as well.. I would personally book here again if I come back to amed soon.
My wife and I found Bintang Beach Villas in Lipah, Amed very memorable. We were treated like royalty. Greeted with genuine smiles and the staff went far beyond our expectations of an elegant hotel. We slept comfortably and our room had the finest a/c. The breakfast in the ocean view terraced dining area was extremely clean and quiet. Their was no blaring music or pesty vendors. We were left alone to enjoy our breakfast at our leisure. With my strict diet, the kitchen staff took pleasure in keeping to the menu without sacrificing the Balinese taste. The staff also went the extra distance in their efforts to solve any issues we had, for instance, we didn't understand how the remote for the TV worked. They solved the matter quickly with sincere intentions. There was staff on the premises 24/7. We felt safe with leaving our valuables in our room. Nothing disappeared or was touched. Our rooms were cleaned daily with clean sheets! The owner of the hotel made his presence periodically and he invited me to go fishing for Baracuda with him on his boat. The infinity pool was elegant and refreshing and lounge chairs available with umbrellas. We are looking forward for our next trip to Bali and we will be booking this excellent hotel when we arrive here. We felt extra special during our stay at Bintang Beach Villas in Lipah, Amed. We will surely miss this magical place!!…
