When we arrived at Bundaku Homestay the owners welcomed us and they are, as well as the whole staff, really kind and friendly :) The room and the bathroom are spacious and clean, as well as the whole property. First be booked just 2 nights, but ended up staying 6 nights and is was great. The own kitchen and the sitting area in front of the room are perfect and make you feel like home. You can also have breakfast and there is free coffee and tea available. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and if there’s something missing, I’m sure you can borrow it. We really enjoyed staying at Bundaku Homestay and we’ll return for sure - maybe to stay longer, as they also offer monthly rent! Everything you need (restaurants, supermarket, bar etc.) is just a few minutes by walk away and the beach is literally in front of the door. Definitely recommend staying there, even for more than 6 days, not just because Amed is a really comfy area but also because at Bundaku you can feel like at home. Thank you very much for having us and I hope we’ll meet up again :)…
We stayed 5 nights at Gunas place and never had any problems. We were greeted and shown the rooms by the man personally. The room is clean, spacious but not exactly quiet, as the place is close to the mainstreet you will always hear the occasional Motorbike passing by, but it's not loud and also not silent. Everything was fully functional and as described in the advertisement. For making instant noodles, eggs and toast in the pan the kitchen was sufficient. The included breakfast could have needed a little more love but it was ok in general. As for Guna, never met someone so caring for his guests. He can hook you up with motorbikes, sunset rides, Speedboat tickets and transportation to probably anywhere on the island, he cared for everything.
Bundaku Homestay is the perfect place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, cozy and clean. Chloe and Guna will do their best to help you with everything that you'll need. I stayed for few months there, and it became my home. It is really convenient to be able to cook, if you like, with the kitchen, otherwise you can ask for breakfast, lunch or diner ! Enjoy Amed !
Bundaku homestay is a quiet and nice place in Amed. Our big room with balcony was clean, nice and comfy. Each room also has a kitchenette, so the place is great for longer stays as well. Though we did not use the kitchenette, so cannot comment about it. It is located on the main street and has a nice courtyard. Wifi is working properly, AC cools down the room nicely, the only minus was that we had to take cold shower, no hot water. In general it is not a problem, as the weather is usually hot, but after a rainy day a cold shower is quite unpleasant.
