Beautiful Home stay in Quiet Village

Awana Homestay is a lovely small 3 room family run home stay situated in the quiet village of Lean, Amed, Bali. Nyoman and his wife Lou who run the place along with the rest of their family, are beautiful, warm hearted people, who make your stay all that more special by inviting you into their lives and their home. The rooms are large and simple with clean crisp sheets and extremely comfortable beds. Each room has a unique (and large) open air bathroom with western toilet and cold water shower. The rooms themselves are fan cooled with large sliding glass doors to let in fresh air. The rooms also have a front verandah with table and chairs to while away the hours with a good book. I've just returned from nearly 3 weeks of staying there and highly recommend it if you want a quiet, local place to stay. Just a short stroll away are a number of small warung and a couple of fancier restaurants, plus a working fishing beach with fabulous snorkelling and also a yoga shala with twice daily classes. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more!…
