Totally agree with previous 1star reviews, and the main problem is staff - receptionist Made. The moment I arrived I felt not welcomed there.Thou I left tips and wasn't asking anything except water during my stay, Made didn't allow me to check out later (hotel was empty for the whole of my stay on the weekend, so doubt someone was coming on Monday specifically to that room). For the request to bring water I was redirected to the kitchen, and for some water I was eventually extra charged👌 Bad internet and noise from the street made this stay 1star. But main concern is Made who definitely should not be working in hospitality if he hates it so much

We stayed both at the ocean and the sea view room. The ocean view room has a nice view of the sea from the pool. while from the sea view room, you can have a wider view of the location as it is higher than the ocean view rooms. The view from the sea view is more stunning I would say. Rooms are spacious and the amenities are from Sensatia Botanicals, a premium product. The room service was perfect, they were very nice and attentive. Their meals are tasty and plenty. The lady who owns this is Japanese, so you can expect high quality in the service, cleanliness, and quickness.

Room Tip: choose the sea view room on the 2nd floor. the balcony is wider and better view.

Note that this is in the bunutan area, near japanese shipwreck and 20minutes from amed centre. Long drive from Kuta, but greeted with delicious pinnaple juice and cold towel, very nice. Nice staff as well. They have 2 types of room. Hill and Ocean that are on seperated buildings just about 50m apart. We stayed at the Terrace Hill room 2nd floor, the biggest one with a bathtub, on the hillside but very much had a lovely wide view of the ocean. Room was big and clean with minibar, kettle, toiletries using sensatia botanical. Windows at the bathroom was not cleaned from outside, maybe missed that. If only, a tv would be nice when staycation-ing. AC would have been better if put at the back. Opening the doors at nighy was not an option, since there was a cat that likes to hang out at our daybed terrace, and flying bug aswell. Breakfast, lunch and dinner always ordered at the hotel, since their was not alot of option around, and gojek food was a hit and run. Taste was delicious, especially breakfast, maybe one of the tastiest. Maybe have more indonesian menu please. Borrowed snorkeling kit from the hotel for 30K, ask the guy staff about snorkeling he can be a guide and hiss father has a boat you may rent with reasnable price. Did Spa as well, nothing special. If staying at Bunutan area, this place is a very good option.

If you are looking for a totally relaxing holiday you can't go past Aquaterrace in Amed. Well worth there drive, beautiful scenery along the way. Staff very friendly and accomodating, Location perfect. Rooms spacious with spectacular views of the ocean. infinity pool was refreshing and beautiful, with only four rooms on the beach side each with little cabanas beside the pool. Short walk to the beach for snorkelling or boat trips. Just perfect . We were sad to leave, we will definitely be returning for longer next time.

This property had everything and more Location away from the busy Amed centre, but close enough to walk or catch a ride. Easy snorkeling straight off the beaches, plenty of fish and coral to see. Apartment was spacious and clean, and had some lovely touches, like the beach bag to carry your items in. The view was to die for and the pool was AMAZING. Staff were so attentive yet unobtrusive. Food here was inclusive of their Japanese influence and was so lovely and fresh. Breakfast included in price and hands down best breakfast in Bali. This is my all time favourite accomodation ( been coming to Bali for a few years now). Great for small group of friends or as a romantic get away.

Our third visit to Aquaterrace and will certainly not be our last. The beachside rooms make the ideal first stop on a tour of North and East Bali. Breakfast watching the fishing fleet come in. A shower with what is surely one of the best outlooks in Asia. Daybed dais for lounging between dips in the infinity pool or snorkelling in the bay below. Plenty of eating options nearby, as well as the in house restaurant, many further than a walk away offer free pick up and return. What is there not to like ? Aquaterrace does not pretend to be an over the top 5 star resort, but at less than £100 per night per couple for the best room, big breakfast, dinner with drinks and 90 minute massage for 2 there can not be better value. Big thanks to Made and his whole team. See you next year we hope.

We had a wonderful stay at Aquaterrace. The rooms are beautiful as is the location. The beach side pool especially was wonderful to relax at. Good breakfast and friendly service. The staff went out their way to make a temporary fix to make the balcony safe for my 1 year old. Thanks for a great stay.

This place was amazing. My wife and I visited this place in 2016 and it was definitely worth the 3.5 hour ride. The place is perfect for couples who want to get away from the humdrum of cities and just chill by the ocean and have a romantic time. The staff were well-mannered and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Do yourself a favour and take the 3 hour drive to Amed. This area of Bali is beautiful. It’s mountains meeting the sea. The drive there alone will take your breath away. Aquaterrace blew our minds!! Make sure you request the beachside villa as these are the best. There is only 4 villas in this part and you basically will have the pool and views all to yourself. On our first night we witnessed the most beautiful sunset you could only dream of. We had the beach all to ourselves to witness this. There is no tourists here or people beeping horns at you. Please do not book through booking websites. Email the aqua terrace directly and they offer you the best packages. Free pick up trasnfer, restaurant credit, guests get 50% massage treatments, plus much more. Aquaterrace is a 10min walk to famous Japanese shipwreck where you can snorkel or scuba dive directly off the beach. You can also snorkel right in front of hotel. Snorkel gear is cheap for 24 hour hire. Breakfast is delivered to your balcony every morning at a time you choose. It’s delicious. We ate at their restaurant everyday.. so many yummy things to choose from. We will be going back to aquaterrace again very soon. We rate this place10/10! Thanks for an amazing stay
