I staid at Camessa one night with my wife and daughter and it was simply perfect : the room was super spacy and really nice with marber style, the view on the beach was top, AC and hot water were provided despite a really low price, the swimming pool was great and clean, the night security guard was friendly and serious about the supervision of our private car and rental motorbike, and the reception staff was smiling, welcoming and helpful with a free late check-out until 2pm. We will soon be back ! Thanks for all guys
I was staying in the room upstairs with the outstanding view on volcano! truly enjoyed the sunrise views from there! The hotel is right next to the beach, but its rocky , so its not for kids. You should ask the restaurant to refill your bottle to avoid buying plastic water there, as they do not have a dispenser or a free water access, - you have to think it through. The room is really comfy, shower is hot and powerful, the staff is very friendly, the place is well located - close to all the main attractions. I would highly recommend it!
I stayed at Camessa for 3 nights. DO NOT STAY HERE. The pool and outdoor seating area is actually quite nice — literally right on the beach. However, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Bali. The room was smelly (like sewage), the breakfast was horrible, but the worst part was the service. For example, the staff suggested we just keep the windows open to fix the smell. The banana fritters were stale. The banana pancakes were under cooked. There was a problem with the plumbing so the sewage smell would just waft through your room even with the bathroom door closed. The room next door had the same issue. The bed was broken. The main cross beam was broken in half. Someone had tried to put it together with some wire (like from a coat hanger). We had to take the mattress off and sleep on the floor. So the smell, the bed, and the food were all horrible, but to add to that the customer service was worse. All the staff would say is “we are sorry and we will call the owner.” But they did not offer to fix anything, or offer a free breakfast or anything to try and make it better. There are so many options in Amed. This one is not worth it.…
Our first time in Amed and very glad to have checked into this hotel. Our room, located on the 2nd floor, was spacious and had a view of the ocean and majestic Mount Agung. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. One staff member, Mr Marde, was kind enough to ensure my camcorder remained by the poolside until I remembered to retrieve it 3 hours later. The restaurant and bar is super comfy and I liked their delicious deep fried spring rolls (lumpia). There are lots of warungs along the road and Jemeluk Viewpoint is only a short 20 minutes walk. Nearby and across the road is Omoide Coffee where you can get your lattes, espressos and cappuccinos.
What an AMAZING place. The view is incredible! Location is excellent. Staff is very friendly and the food is good. The pool is nice and deep and my goodness, the snorkeling is to die for! DO NOT MISS THE SUNSET BEHIND MT AGUNG. I was surprised at the price as it was worth so much more.
