I was a little disappointed when we first arrived at Hidden Paradise Villas. Reception area and our villa were quite basic. The room was a good size, but showing its age. Our bed was very large however, it was two beds pushed together. The outside bathroom was adequate, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap supplied. Towels were not charged daily although,...

I have been here a few times over the years. Each time the vibe was a bit lower. Unfortunately the restaurant staff made us feel consistently unwelcome, bordering on hostile. Though breakfast was advertised as complimentary you had to help yourself from a fly covered corner of the room. We chose to leave 1 night early to avoid being kept...

Small hotel with only 16 cottages, each designed thoughtfully with Balinese architecture complimenting contemporary comforts. Gardens are beautifully maintained and the swimming pool is jus amazing; surrounded by lovely frangipani trees that offer shade during sunny mornings/afternoons. Snorkeling is fantastic right on the beach; it is so accessible that our 6 year old daughter could not believe that just entering...

This hotel was a gem and definite highlight of our trip to Bali. Attention to the smallest details such as adequate hooks for towels, mosquito repellent in the rooms and bedside lamps were great. The food was excellent for dinner and I enjoyed the fact that breakfast is ordered for serving so it is hot and fresh - Not to...

Just wander down to the beach. But watch that the black sand may be hot hot hot. Put on your fins, mask and snorkel and slither into the water and in 20 feet you can be amidst many many fish and lovely coral. We've snorkelled in many areas of the world and this was a great and super convenient location....

Hidden Paradise Cottages is a delightful refuge from the street mayhem of a lot of Amed. The ambience is one of peace and tranquility. An idilic place to relax in. The cottages are separated by magnificent manicured tropical gardens. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The beds are very comfortable. The outdoor bathroom is a real plus. There are...

We wandered our way in here when looking for lunch one day. I had the most delicious gado gado and Lobster had freshly caught and grilled mahi mahi. SENSATIONAL. As it was low season we were able to score loungers and while away the afternoon with drinks and snorkelling. Friendly staff, very clean loos, lush gardens and great beach frontage....

Great value accommodation located directly on Lipah beach, extremely quiet and tranquil and meticulously maintained grounds. Well appointed and spacious bungalows with open-air shower / bathroom, large shaded swimming pool and very attentive and friendly staff.

Overall a very well maintained, cosy resort, despite it being 20 years old. Rooms were clean with a big outdoor toilet and it is situated just right infront of a beach where you can do snorkeling. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Good breakfast with a decent variety, though the breakfast hours are a little short.

A lovely, tranquil hotel right on the beach with a good, affordable restaurant and nice cottages. The rooms are a bit basic, but offer everything you need: a good bed, nice bathroom and private terrace. Minibar very cheap. The pool is very nice, so are the gardens. Breakfast more than adequate. Nice to drink a cocktail at night while gazing at...
