Had a good short stay at Coral View recently. There are many small places to stay strung out along the road from Amed and CV is one of them. You definitely need transport to stay there as the "town" itself is a distance away. The small cottages are very adequate and I particularly liked the large semi exterior bathroom which includes a large tub. Water was hot after it ran a few minutes and the room was clean. Swimming/snorkelling is very close nearby as is the black sand fishermans' beach. Nice pool and grounds. Breakfast was simple but fine.

A lovely place with very friendly staff. The villas are nicely spaced in a well-maintained garden with a centrally located pool surrounded by palms. The villas were a good size. The villas are right on the beach, with two natural reefs to explore by snorkelling. There are also plenty of trips you could take on the Balinese fishing boats.
Made, at the reception, was very accommodating, organising our bike rides, snorkelling rental and a longer trip by car to explore the attractions of Bali.
All up, it is a place I would gladly visit again.

My partner and I enjoyed dinner in the beach side restaurant and after returning to our accommodation (not Coral View Villas) I thought I left my phone in the dinning room. My partner returned to the restaurant (around 10.30pm) to an incredibly helpful night Manager who called all the restaurant staff to enquire about the phone. Everyone went above and beyond to find the phone, even being late at night and already finished work coming back from their homes.

Despite not staying at the villas (we mistakenly took a hotel on the non-beach side of the road) I highly recommend Coral View Villas for their great beach side dreamy restaurant, lovely staff, stunning gardens and villas.

I really wanted to love this place. We found this place to be dirty - the mosquito nets had holes in and felt filthy to the touch, the dressing table had dust and dirt on them. Curtain in the bathroom had toothpaste stains from previous use, the doors didn’t close properly so it meant there were big gaps, thereby letting in mosquitoes. The breakfast was not good, and although they said they tried to offer gluten free I ended up eating my own cereal I’d brought. Hot water was hit and Miss and wifi very weak to non existent.

We picked this place as the snorkelling was supposed to bed good. Unfortunately the waves were too big during our stay so we didn’t get good visibility.

There are hawkers harassing you as soon as you step out.

And two of the worst things - I got bed bugs front their bed and my son got awful Bali belly. Another family we spoke to said quite a few other people had also had Bali belly during their stay. Honestly. Book elsewhere! This place needs some major improvements. My one regret this holiday was staying here.

Worst hotel I have been in Bali) I have rent family villa in front of see. First: they don’t even have hot water in rooms. Second: When we rent the room we discuss that we will have breakfast but in the morning they told that restaurant is closed and breakfast didn’t include)) so don’t even think to stop here. Also rooms was dirty… terrible villas)

I don’t usually write reviews but was prompted to do so by the recent 1 star review by Live for Holidays. Don’t know where she stayed but our experience was nothing like her supposed experience. Nor do other reviews suggest her review is in any way accurate. This is not a 5 star resort nor does it claim to be. It is made up of low key but very comfortable bungalows on the beach. We had no issue with cleanliness, hygiene , mosquitoes, wifi, hot water nor the quality of the breakfast. We also had stunning snorkelling experiences including swimming with a turtle right off the beach. So the weather and big waves are the responsibility of the resort?? Really!
As for the hawkers, a polite no thank you was all that was required, but actually taking a trip with one of the boats was an awesome experience so maybe they should have tried it. As for “harassing”… perhaps consider the fact that these people are just trying to make a living in the best way they know.
We had an awesome stay at Coral View Villas and wouldn’t hesitate In recommending it. Suggest Live for Holidays sticks to Club Med.

Hotel has two strong points… only. 1st is view and close beach and 2nd beautiful garden. TO IMPROVE: cleanliness, poor and limited breakfast, low quality or even no Internet at Villas, morning noise makes by Fisherman (starts engingins and makes clamor). We stayed at villa 13… staff didn’t inform us that we we would have animals living on the roof (Family Palm Civet)… being active in the night.

Lovely clean villas and well kept grounds and facilities. Our villa looked over to the pool. Lovely pool but some shade around it would be nice. Beach is good for a walk, swim and snorkel. Breakfast was good with lovely fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order and fresh juice. Close to mini mart and plenty of options for meals.

It was quite a while we could not stay in Coral View due to Corona. But now we back again and enjoy the beauty of this place. Especially the garden and pool are phantastic. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bathroom shower needs a fix, so the toilet flush. Breakfast was very good - you can order different meals. We are happy coming back and certainly will do somit the future.

Our family of 2 adults & 3 children had a two story villa right on the beach front. Bid double bed upstairs, plus a toilet and downstairs was all prepared for the 3 children, and had everything they needed. Especially loved the big outdoor bathroom.
Our room was behind and equally comfortable.
Loved the food in the beachside restaurant, and the pool was excellent.
The family especially liked being able to snorkel right in front of the hotel and saw regenerating coral, variety of fish and turtles.
A memorable stay and thank you for the kindness of the staff.

Every thing is near by. Bar, Restaurants, Messages are near by. Villas are om a narrow road, which is appr. 30 to 40 meters away to all above that i mentioned. Chef comes only in morning for breakfast. you may ask previous to booking if they can arrange for chef for others meals. Car and driver is available by hotel on rental with driver and scooty was arranged by hotel itself at just 50000 indo currency per day. for 24 hrs with helmets. without petrol. petrol is mind blowing cheap there. App. 1/2 dollor per litre. advise ...dont take car as too much traffic. bargin alot.....

No TVs at Coral View Villas, the area provides plenty of activites. If there is an important sporting match you are worried about missing, the sister hotel, Hidden Paradise Cottages, has a TV/projector in their multi-purpose room for that reason (or the occasional kids cartoons).
