We spent a great weekend in this lovey hotel. The terrace view was breathtaking, and the staff was so attentive. They brought us all the meals straight to our terrace, and all in all were so helpful. I highly recommend this place!
Baliku is a special place with wonderful, hospitable staff. The ocean and mountain views are absolutely stellar and simply cannot be captured by camera. We were even graced with a full moon, which just lit the entire ocean and provided us with an unbelievable backdrop for our delicious dinners on the balcony. The food is fantastic! We did have some plumbing issues that sadly, did not get resolved. This resulted in some pretty terrible smells in our villa, throughout our stay, putting a definite damper on things. We also had some issues with linen that did not smell fresh. Still, our time at Baliku was some of our most memorable in Bali. Yes, there are a lot of steps at the property but if you are somewhat fit, it is not a problem and absolutely worth the view. The staff even arranged for a very inexpensive full body massage on the balcony. Great snorkeling right across the street, at the site of the Japanese Shipwreck. Baliku sits above a village, so you will experience noise and goings on of the town, including the prayers on the intercom, as well as the smells and sounds of the farm animals. We appreciated being connected / immersed in this way. I will dream of this place and our time at Baliku always.…
We booked Baliku last minute for our week long holiday in Bali and boy aren’t we glad we came across this gem! Our main goal was to do some diving and have a relaxing holiday. We were met by the most friendliest and helpful staff, who arranged everything from transfers, to diving, private yoga and prepared some of the most delectable meals during our stay. We chose the top room which had 180 degree views of the ocean and mountain side. Being on the hill tho, would require some fitness to get to, but well worth it for the views and privacy. There are various other restaurants nearby, where we also tried out. The diving is pristine, and immaculate. Our dive guide Iju was super chilled and really helpful, he took us on some dive sites on the outrigger as well as organised hire of tanks where me and my partner completed several shore dives - just so easy to do and with very little fuss. We continued to extend out stay until it was time for us to head back home. I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to the staff and owner Donna who’s hospitality has been exceptional. We are already planning our next trip back!…
We were recommended baliku from our accommodation as we were interested in a few dives. They were super helpful and gave us the info we needed. They picked us up from our resort and as we’d not dived for a while Iju was great in suggesting a couple of shore dives to ease us in. The dives were great, especially the second one near the Japanese ship wreck. Can’t believe how many fish we saw, octopus, turtles, sea snakes and all sorts. It was so good we booked to go back for another 2 dives one of which was a boat then drift dive. Iju was very patient and easy going and talked us through everything before the dives. Theres also have a great little restaurant opposite near the shop wreck which was lovely for lunch after the dives finished. Would highly recommend them
Firstly, we stayed at the Baliku Hotel only for diving. And we spent five unforgettable days in it. Wonderful cool and spacious apartments, beautiful pool, great food. By the way, some tourists from other hotels go to Baliku to eat. Nearby there is a good beach (though not sand, but pebbles) you can sunbathe, swim and dive to the sunken Japanese fishing wreck. Many colorful fish under the sea . By the way, I studied diving with a professional instructor Matt from Australia. He is also an underwater photographer, very interestingly talking about the underwater world. His beautiful Instagram is @scubarista.
Arini, Tajus and all of the staff at Baliku looked after us like family during our stay. We were a large group - 10 people for 9 nights, but everything about our stay at Baliku was fantastic. The accomodation is beautiful, thoughtfully laid out and with a great private terrace/daybed area to each room. The coast/bay views are stunning and the resort is beautifully landscaped with a fantastic pool area as well. The restaurant had a great and varied menu - were ate breakfast at the resort each day, lunch and dinner most days and still had not tried even half of the available dishes. The cocktails were equally delicious! The staff really were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble, from helping us arrange hire of a scooter, to excursions and other restaurant bookings, massages and the like. Thanks also to Niko the dive master at the resort, who (literally!) held my hand through a first try at scuba during our stay. We had a fantastic time at Baliku and I couldn't recommend them highly enough!…
Relaxing week in Bali right opposite A Japanese five wreck Hotel was good but needs a little TLC from owners Staff excellent and a credit to the place If in Amed check it out Food was good typical mix of both international and Indonesian Clean rooms As hotel is on side of a hill with great views water is pumped up so sometimes a bit slow but ok once it starts As mentioned needs a bit of TLC couldn't get tv working but staff let me borrow their personal dvds to watch on one night , couple light bulbs missing nothing major Nikos in the dive shop full of knowledge
We were 3 days here, doing 5 dives. My son (10 years) was with me. Iyu, our Divemaster did explain and help very patiently and with great skill. The equipment was well maintained and high quality. We will come back!
We spent a couple of nights here on our first trip to Amed. A great place to stay with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and spectacular views. Highly recommended. We would definitely like to spend more time here.
We were here on our honeymoon and i can tell you it was the best experience we've had in a long time. Professional people, very attentive and caring, taking their time to explain all details and aspects of scuba. Big thanks to Matt and Niko for the trip. Warmly recommend it. Michael & Mihaela
