Popped in to use the pool for a couple of hours. The man that showed us around didn’t know the price. I’d heard another nearby was 15,000 so thought it’d be in the vicinity. We bought a couple of drinks from the pool bar. On leaving the receptionist advised us the price was 50,000 per person. I’m not sure this is a fair price for myself let alone my young daughter. Silly me for not getting the price first. My advice is go jump in the ocean across the road at BARacuda’s and use their gazebos for free when you buy drinks. I could have got booked a hotel room there for 280,000 and got two days at the pool for almost the same price! I felt ripped off so I can’t recommend.

I stayed here five nights and had an overall pleasant stay. The staff is super nice. I stayed in two different rooms. My first room was a tiny, narrow 2-bed-room with a bathroom with no warm water. Then I realized that other guests payed less for a much bigger room and asked at the reception for another room. To move to another room was no problem at all, so I moved into a spacious doubleroom with beautiful carved doors and a huge veranda! And a proper bathroom with hot water! For almost the same room rate! It was so much more relaxing! The first room wasn't worth the room rate, the second room was good value for money. I highly recommend to ask for another room, if you are not satisfied. The included breakfast was good. Also I liked the sunbeds at the beach and the free water refill. The pricing for food and drinks at the hotel is more of a high-range, so I didn't bother to eat at the hotel. Down the street there are enough Warungs with good food for small money. Also the hotel spa is fairly high priced, so I didn't test this. All in all I enjoyed my time at Amed Café and would've liked to stay longer. I will be back for sure!…

This is the BEST VALUE HOTEL we've ever been to. For 20 usd/double you get a nice room with a balcony (with another bed), two pools in the area and a very good breakfast, served in the restaurant just at the beach (having a breakfast and watching an ocean, amazing). Just incredible! Also the staff is very kind and helpful. Cons: The water-tap was a little wobbly. And there is slight smell in the bathroom, when you flush.

Stay just one night for transit from singaraja to karangasem. There is no mineral water, the room was dark. But still have a good hot water. I get 400k IDR price. Breakfast just 5 from 10. But breakfast with seaview is amazing for refresh.
