We're super happy with Ganesh lodge. Great price, nice big rooms that were also clean, and the staff was awesome, with Ramesh being always funny amd helpful. Highly recommended for budget stay in case of family/friends/couples/anything
Hi During my visit to Kanyakumari, i found this hotel very friendly with the tourist, as they managed early check-in . The reception is very helpful for guiding the tourist. The rooms are good justifying the budgeted rates. The location is excellent as all tourist spots are at walk-able distance. Hotel arrange for Local sight seen guided tour through bus for 3-4 hours. even though they do not have food facility but just across the road , there is a restaurant providing local food at reasonable cost. they do not have room service. So overall an excellent experience with saving of time and money.....thanks
Worst Welcome .... The Manager and the Attendants were unwelcoming and arrogant .. the TV not working ... Hot Water wasnt available on demand even after calling the reception ... and the worst part is that, No Wi-Fi is there ... I wanted to have that in my room as I had to do my officework through my laptop.... moreover, there was no Elevators ( Lifts ) and we got the 3rd floor, when my parents have gout problems... and inspite of pleading them to give a room downstairs, they vent out their disapproval .... The Wi-Fi should be available individual rooms .... noone hapled us to board the luggage t our rooms ... the rooms are extremely damp and shabby ... the bathrooms have broken commodes and so in all aspects, this hotel is a big NO-NO for recommending to other travellers in future.…
A very basic hotel , with nice clean rooms and affordable tariff. Its proximity to railway station and major points near Kanyakumari is also a big plus point. I had stayed in a room which was triangular in shape but had ample flow of cool breeze. The food points are also near by. I had stayed only for few hours as I had a train for rameshwaram during the night time on same day.
Very cheap, location is extremely nice ..yes they should change the rock hard beds.staff behaviour is very good.although bathroom was not clean they didn't even change the old bed sheets which had flies all over but overall if u consider the money u r paying then no problem.
I had to spend just 1 day in Kanyakumari not even complete 24 hours. So I looked for few cheap stays online and I found this one. This is located just walk distance from Railway Station and within a kilometer from Bus station of Kanyakumari. I reached Kanyakumari in morning time and the lodge honor didn't argue for my early arrival as online ticket was showing check-in time as 12pm. The person sitting on reception had also some link with Delhi so we had some chit chat in Hindi. Later I got the room and I informed that I will checkout in evening. Manually they charge 300 or 400 for single room but my online booking was for just Rs 200. The lodge is on main road you don't need to ask some one for the location. Lodge doesn't have their own canteen or food dhaba so you need walk for that.…
Located just near Railway station on main highway, approximately 1.5kms from beach. They have 2 buildings, the one shown in pics isnt available for online booking but another one next to it. We arrived at 4am in the morning and were refused any stay by the attendant at first place, but when we told online booking he asked us to go and inquire at another building which is just 2 plots away. The room was quite small with twin beds and TV. The pricing was lowest anywhere in Kanyakumari and since it was our transit point just for few hours before boarding train to Trivandrum, we didnt mind either. Not every room has western style toilet seat. Please confirm in advance.
This hotel was conveniently near the station, and seemed clean, though it was very bare and functional. My room was long and narrow and had a place for clothes etc., and a good bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet, plus an extra tap and spray by the toilet. There was an efficient fan over the bed and good lighting. But I had a dreadful night's sleep because of the mattresses (2 single ones on 2 beds pushed together). Both mattresses looked brand new as they were still in their plastic covers, with an ad which claimed that Curl-On mattresses are India's favourite! Well, I just couldn't believe that as they were absolutely rock-hard!! I would love to know if Indians really like very hard beds, but I certainly do not!
its close by to the railway station , yummy food all around the hotel. places to visit are also near by. Reach and leave your luggage and don't miss out on visiting small pier, its a very peaceful place and best time would be sun rise and sun set
Dirty rooms with very bad smell, no service provided. Very very rude and uncooperative staff specially Manager never ever stay in this hotel. Taken the best & highest price room of this hotel and is in such a pathetic condition.
