We were planning for lonawala trip when it was long weekend, fortunately we got this resort for 1 night availability on Sunday. Since resort is main road it's easy to travel here. Once reaching resort you have to park your vehicle at the entry area and later hotel staff will park it to other parking.
Since it was long weekend we have to wait for few hours for check in but it was acceptable as we reached before our check in time. One suggestion to resort is they can provide welcome drink to guest it will help them to relax and cool.
Till we get the room keys we visited whole resort. They have cool stairs on the way to game zone and pool. You can take some beautiful snaps there. Also besides that you will find small dining area where you can enjoy candel light dinner at the evening.
The game zone is also amazing, it have all the games which every resort have like carrom, table tennis, chess, Ludo and snooker. You can enjoy the games with your family.
Till the time we got room keys and we settled in our room. We booked normal delux room without breakfast. Room was very big than what we expected with more than basic facilities. In room you get one wardrobe, tv set, tea maker and fridge. Also they have one chair and table set up if you want to do some work. Room was very clean and well maintained. In the washroom you get toothpaste with brush and sanitary pad bag. Also they have kept hair dryer as well.

As I was fed up of WFH, and it was Diwali weekend, was looking for a nearby workation destination for the week. Came across the Meritas Crystal Resort on several portals, with high reviews from multiple customers. Sami Sadi family VLOG on Youtube was very helpful, as it gave me full insights into all aspects of the place.
I wanted an excellent room, as I knew I would be spending maximum time in there. Also wanted a great view. And that's what I got! I took the Deluxe suite with Loft room which has a cute sit-out overlooking the pool. The room also comes equipped with a mezzanine loft that can be accessed by a ladder. Perfect for small kids and adds a fun element to the room. The view is brilliant, with a well maintained swimming pool, AND an actual waterfall in the background! Can there be anything more perfect? The hotel also plays beautiful music through the day, which just adds to that holiday vibe.
I am all praises for the staff at this hotel, especially as I worked 3 days, and then sadly fell sick, so basically I was pretty much in my room all week. But the superb design of the room, the hygiene and the stellar service let me enjoy even through all that. The staff is very polite, pleasant and well informed.
Special shout out to:
Mr. Asrar at the reception who seamlessly helped me upgrade to the loft room, so that I could get the exact staying experience I wanted. He was also very helpful when I got sick, and needed some emergency items.
Mr. Ryan Lobo of Meritas Hospitality who was very responsive all through the booking and payment experience.
Housekeeping is clean, friendly and super efficient
In house dining: Very accomodating of all my requests regarding food, especially spice levels, which I rarely find in any other restaurants. The taste of every dish was simply amazing, heck! I am craving some of it even now 😁
The WI-FI was also pretty much on point, which enabled me to do my work without issues. Very useful, as mobile network is quite poor in the area.
Cost wise, I would say the place is mid range, but absolutely VFM due to the supreme service levels. Make sure you book rooms directly with them instead of through other portals, for best rates.
Thank you Meritas Crystal Resort team for making my stay safe, enjoyable and memorable. I will not only be back, but also try out your other properties as well.

Horrible Experience. We requested an early check and we’re told to come in by Noon ans the room would be ready which it wasn’t. We had to wait an hour inspight of prior confirmation of an early check in. The sink in the bathroom was broken and leaking and we had to use the dustbin below the sink to ensure the water doesn’t drip on to the floor. The cement around the bath tub had also come off and mirror was broken. Housekeeping told us it would take two hours to repair the sink including Tim for the cement to dry during which we would’nt be able to use the sink.
Water wasn’t available in the hotel washrooms for almost two hours and the management kept giving the guests excuses that it would be restored in 15 mins. This lasted from 8:30pm to 10:30pm when we decided to check out the same night and drive back to Mumbai as it was not possible to stay in a room with no water especially since we had our two year pls daughter with us. 3 more rooms requested for an early check out due the the water issues same time as us.
The food was good and staff was polite. The management has painted the exterior of the hotel to make it look good but a lot of effort needs to be put in to refurbish the rooms, bathrooms and get the basics right. Service was very slow as well.
This property is more like a 2 star and not a 4 star as claimed on some sites

Driving from Kolkata to Lonavala was a pure thrilling drive. But we started entering the Express way the driving was a pleasure, reached Lonavala & as we entered Meritas Crystal Resort , a warm welcome by security staff followed by silk smooth check in with smilies by reception staffs . The Room was far better than what we saw in the web site during booking neat clean Spic & span the toilet was too good . The swimming pool with heavy rainfall turned in to pool of joy with music around.
Excellent food was served at the restaurant & the breakfast was sumptuous , the varieties served was from all zones of India suits to every Indian . Thanks to chief chef Mr Saurov .
Entire staffs of the resort was well mannered decent n good human being .
Last but not the least we liked enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Me and my parents visited Crystal resort on 19th Jan. We had difficulty to locate property but once we were at the property it was a pleasant expireance.
As we entered first thing which we did eas have lunch as we were tired and hungry and their food was finger licking especially chicken kheema and garlic naan. My parents also loved the food.
Then we entered our room as requested they gave us rooms side by side it was easier for us to take care of our parents due to that. My kids enjoyed pool and trampoline while we played in their game zone.

Staff were very supportive from security guard to manager.. We had stayed there for three night. After the having food mood get fresh.. It's too tasty Chinese and Indian food was awesome .. My recent stay at Meritas Crystal in Lonavala was quite enjoyable. The hotel's location is convenient, just a short drive from the main attractions in town. Not a four star property Far from main market, small swimming pool away from property, not even maintained, pno garden at all, no feel of resort, highway side rooms are noisy, bathrooms are small and same in all category. Superior rooms with bunk bed are useless to take, premium rooms have extra feature of Jacuzzi which is worthy, executive room is common with necessary amenities like mini fridge, tea coffee maker. Breakfast is excellent with different menu each day. We demanded jain food in dinner and they fulfilled excellent Staff is very helpful and cooperative Overall good experience but far away from market and price is not worthy Tip.
