We had booked this guest house on way back from mahabaleshwar to Mumbai for a night stay. Location is okay but the property had a deserted look, we went to the hotel and did the formalities. However, the kitchen is non-functional, which was a big let down. We went out for lunch and finally decided to drive back to Mumbai the same afternoon, so can't comment about the stay
Worest hotel in lonavala ,very rude and stupid staff won't give respect towards customers and ask to pay extra money for senseless things ,even if u try to explain your problems they won't listen and won't allow you to stay and tell u to stay platform ,don't go here
Clean and hygienic place. Refreshing surroundings, a place in budget and must visit as its very much convenient to reach from lonavala station. Management is friendly and helpful feels like second home. Best time to visit in monsoon
They will charge you in the name of yoga even if you dont participate. They dont even have telecom and there is absolutely no room service. they are always asking for money immediately after asking for a service and dont have any decency.
We were put up in this hotel as part of stay for marriage guests. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Since the hotel was close to the wedding venue it was very convenient. The facilities at the hotel were decent.
peaceful and silent place. i'm visited with my family in December. room was average and old type look, washroom was also old type. location is very good, near citrus hotel and opposite to gujrati pure veg restaurant. totally old type average property.
The place is good place to stay. Food was good and easy to access. Have few indoor games. Nice place to visit during mansion. Its good for family and couples. The cleanness is ok not that clean but manageable. The staff is good and co-operative and very friendly.
I visited with my family and occupied room No 116 and 117 at first floor. Shahani Health Home is an oldest place for boarding in Lonavala and has more than 40 rooms. One special room is available with five beds. Bigger parking and playground and neat and clean rooms are attraction. Canteen service for food has been suspended however, Tea Coffee service is available. Food / Meals are available at nearby Gujarathi Canteen at reasonable rates. I met Mr Gulab ( Manager), who was nice and helpful person.
The hotel building looks old. But the rooms are fairly large & nice & tidy. The bedding linen was neat & clean. We stayed on second floor in rooms facing the garden. The balcony was nice. The geyser in bathroom was working fine as hot water bath is definitely required in the cold climate of Lonavala especially if you come all drenched from rains & waterfalls. We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food quality. The hotel staff is friendly. As mentioned in some of the earlier reviews, if intercom would be provided then that would be great. The hotel is located close to the ST stand, so it is not that hard to find. All in all, it is a good option if you are on a tight budget & don't want to spend too much on your hotel room as most of the time we are visiting the nearby picnic spots.…
The location of the hotel is nothing to talk about but the rooms are decent.Staff has a laidback attitude. This hotel is for couples who book it for the weekend to have some privacy. For family ,it gets kinda embarassing.Food served in the restaurant is pathetic although that was not the case when i had visited with my girlfriend 12 yrs ago.
