A large well equipped resort for 60 to 70 people. Corporate or family picnic or celebrations can be done in this middies resort with multiple venues for reception, weddings, theme party's, formal functions and leisurely weekend party's. Superb service, variety of food options and a nice swimming pool adds to your experience! Centrally located in Lonavala for Mumbai & Pune tourists!

Clean & Adequate rooms. Should supply mosquito repellant in rooms & also outside if sitting in garden. Provided a hall with audio system for us to assemble. Terrace toilets for this hall not clean enough. Food average.
Service EXCELLENT.

A lovely ,well maintained resort where we celebrated our son's wedding . Great food as per prerequested menu , a service attendant especially appointed to help us throughout the ceremony , all floral decorations done to our specifications ...just the way we all wish for an enjoyable ,hassle-free experience. Lovely location ,off old mumbai poona old highway ,near mountains . A medium sized pool ,great for summer times . Villas and rooms ,as per our needs or budget . We had booked 2 smaller villas and 2 seperate double rooms .
Loved the Reception area ,cheerful with plants ,artifacts and small lounging areas .
Obviously ,the owner has attention to all tiny details ,helped by the vast staff and service teams . Also found that the teams were ready to oblige us with all the last moment requests made .
Glad we had our function there .

Sereniity Resort is a great place with a warm ambience. Most of all, the surrounding locality is serene and there are a lot of areas to walk around. If you want quietness, go during the weekdays. The standalone rooms can be small but if you take a villa (provided you have few more people with you), you will have a good time. The food is moderately priced and tasty. In a-la carte, they would customize your food. As a 90% plant based diet follower, I got a good sandwich without dairy. Overall great stay

This is my second visit to this property. A small, boutique resort, with good landscaping, Plants, and good rooms. The food ( I opted for the Meals package) is good, and quite sumptuous. The staff are very responsive, and cater to your smallest demands. Excellent value for money. Rooms are quite neat, and linen is clean.

Customer care and service by Sukeshini and Prateeksha (Main reception), and Pranjali, Farheen, Ajit, Parameshwar and Payal in the restaurant are top of the line.

In fact, Payal even remembered the dish that I had parceled and taken home to Mumbai, the last time I was in this resort (and that was in 2019).

Highly recommended for those who want a quite vacation, in peaceful surroundings, and want Value for money.

It says when you leave a beautiful place; you carry it with you wherever you go……
Actually this Resort is Stunning, very well maintain, clean & it is actually the way its shown on the site.
We were allotted a beautiful Garden facing apartment with two Master bedrooms , Hall & open Gallery with a beautiful Architecture. Staff was humble & proactive. Restaurant has hygienic & tasty food to serve.
It was raining all night long. In the middle, there was a great head coming with a strong wind. Later again slow raining. After many years, I saw such a smoking rain.
There is no happiness like falling on a warm bed in a slow rain.
Trust me this resort has many things to offer.....
Will surely visit this resort again. Thank you SERENIITY for such a wonderful experience.

We booked this hotel after looking at some reviews here, Room was very sub standard and clumsy, dirty pillow covers, blankets with hair strands of all their previous clients who visited the hotel I think.. no network whatsoever in the room both mobile and WiFi. Wifi can be used only in their reception. How nice???? Morning breakfast was average. For lunch though we had booked for MAP plan when we arrived for lunch we were made to wait for longtime finally waiter informed us that the package is not applicable in spite of the long wait. However, after I personally discussing with receptionist they agreed. For ordering lunch they don't have menu for the package instead they provide regular menu and they provide very limited dishes and there seems to be no clarity on what they provide and they don't. Very annoying when they say we can't provide that in your package. When we had ordered everything vegetarian. They brought nonveg soup how disgusting? And they replaced with veg soup after serving roti and pulav.how nice??? Brought two Roti's and we had to remind the waiter multiple times to bring two more. How frustrating?? Food taste is below average. I think this place is highly overrated.

Response from mandar d, Owner at Sereniity Resort
Responded 4 Dec 2016
Hello Sir, Thank u for for your stay with us. I regret the unfortunate experience u shared. As we had to verify and confront staff, we did not reply immediately. However, after counter checking we had the following to say. This is a first time multiple issue situation. As far as the room goes, we are always open to the fact that if our guest reports any displeasure, we change the room, no such request was recieved at the front office. Linen is not a issue for change. Every day the linen is changed, it is never passed on for use after check out of a guest. The supervisor is confronted on this and a check up report and before check in touch up was done. We have all woman staff for room preparation and it a possibility of the hair particle unknowingly left after clean up. As far as wifi is concerned, 1 router near your room had been sent for maintanance, hence poor signal. Sorry about that The mobile networks is your network operator issue, and in these parts even we experience fluctuations being a countryside. On some days we do not have a buffet, so we offer our multi cuisine menu for the guest to order from, which most hotels do not offer as certain chosen items, take time to get ready. Also food is freshly prepared, so it takes time anywhere from 10 mins to 20 mins depending on number of items ordered. The soup belonging to another guest was given to u, by mistake, by a jr steward, whom we have dealt with very strictly and apologise for the same. As far as the MAP plan goes, the day staff did not know that u did not have dinner, which is a usual practice for MAP by most guests. This is a communication gap from our side. If u had informed at check in , of reference, it would have helped. Please note that almost all our guests are satisfied with us and come repeatedly, especially groups, couples, families, reunions, etc. but not all send reviews, so we can only say this about ourselves and services. We invite u again to visit us and allow us to serve u better, thus giving us an opportunity to make your stay worth remembering.

Got the room in the evening although we had booked it online a month back and not only us there were 4-5 other families who were made to wait till evening for a room to be given and they had also done advance booking..we were forced to use harsh langauage with the management so that we can get a room because the attitude of everybody was so indifferent and unreliable..the owner mrs.ratnamala is so arrogant and she had no sorry feeling that her resort had made us wait till evening for a room ..instead her words were "this is normal pls dont create a scene"..hospitality zero as in that even the next day nobody cared to ask us that sorry we made u disturbed yesterday how are you finding our services now..nothing of this sort.

As a visitor even if u r lucky enough to get a room timely with such an unprofessional management u will still be disappointed let me give u the reasons-room is charged at 4000 plus for one night but it is worth not more than 1500..bed mattresses and pillows are so hard u will wake up with a backache for sure..there is no alacarte menu only buffet available and to place an alacarte order i had to walk upto the kitchen so that the chef cant say no..no full mirror in room..leaking taps in bathroom..curtains on windows are so light that there is no darkness in the room when u want to sleep..they dont have sufficient crockery..at breakfast plates and spoons were getting finished and were being rewashed and then given. The owners only wish to make money they have no sense of hospitality. U will find lot better options pls dont go here and save urself from all the trouble..and yes for the other positive reviews i feel the management is itself providing false reviews just to promote its place.

We a family of four had booked 2 rooms through Make My Trip. Visited on 06/07/2018. The rooms at the back side allotted to us were so small that the bed was visible to people walking outside. It was smelly and damp. The intercom and phone were not working. We inquired at the reception for up gradation of our rooms, but we were curly informed that the full resort is booked. However, we came to know that several rooms were empty. We ordered for glasses and imagine the shock when the room service gave us paper glasses and said that they do not provide glasses in the room. What the heck? We protested and were given glasses with the explanation that it was removed from other rooms and given to us(one more reason to believe that the rooms were empty). We ordered for an ice pale and were curtly informed that it is chargeable. We also know that it is chargeable, but is it the way to treat the guests? They can be subtle and humble. We complained about the intercom not working as we had to order food. The lady at the front desk informed us that moisture must have taken a toll on the phone. the phone was ultimately replaced but we could only use it once and then it blinked again, We abandoned the plan of eating at the resort and had food outside. The ultimate horror was reserved for the night when the power went off at 230 AM and there was no power till 5 AM. In pouring rain we went to the front desk to restore the power as the resort had advertised uninterrupted power back up.The person at the reception by the name of Kiran was fast asleep and when woken up, informed that though they have generator, there is no fuel to run the same and he is helpless. He advised us to wait for the power to be restored. We asked for some candles and he offered us Birthday ones. When we protested, he went and fetched the regular candles form adjacent room. As we had been allotted rooms at the back, there was no ventilation and we had to spend the better part of night without power. As the Football World cup was going on, we expected to see the world cup matches and had inquired beforehand at the front desk and it was informed that they have the sports channel which beamed world cup. However, the room had a TV(akin to a computer screen), beaming ESPN in Malayalam. The other HD channels as usual were not subscribed by the resort(Cost cutting I suppose). When we protested, we were informed that the resort does not provide HD channels and we have to do with the Malayalam channel(the commentary of which we could not understand one bit).
We had paid Rs. 6.8K for one night for 2 room, which were worse than dormitory rooms. Our only argument is that the resort claims to provide Serene (Serenity), calm and peaceful atmosphere, which is contrary to their claims. And the management will never own up to their faults and neither will they be able to compensate for Ruining our holiday .Our sincere advice, please check beforehand the facilities offered and then book otherwise go at your own risk.
