Although its evident that Lonavala is no far from Mumbai and Pune, it has always been the 2nd getaway location during weekends for many. We used to skip visiting Lonavala for this very reason until we had Radisson Hotel Group property coming there. As always, our travel purpose has been 'Leisure' and thus we were prompt enough to decide our next destination for our 2N3D short-break - 'Radisson Resort & Spa Lonavala'. Location is 'Peace'. Our welcome was warmth enough to make us feel special and privilege. More than 3 acres of the property, it houses almost all those infrastructure that we usually look forward for during our stays. (a) Rooms: We were housed in One-Bedroom Suite and our experienced a ‘Jislaaik’ moment. The uniquely designed rooms had the Bathtub placed in balcony which was ‘Niche’ according to me (ofcourse ensuring the privacy of a family). The rooms are divided in 2 separate buildings of the property. Tip: Look for a swimming pool facing rooms as the view could be quite brilliant from higher floors. (b) Restaurant: There are 2, one being Hirkani (Multi-cusine) and other being Malhari (Bar). The breakfast spread is great only leaving you to decide ‘what to eat’ / ‘what not to eat’. The team including the chefs and Director – F&B would ensure that you feel comfortable and eat what you want. Do we need to expect anything more? Not really. Tip: Not to miss items – (a) Cheese Chilly Toast, (b) White Pasta, (c) Chessy Spicy Garlic Supreme, (d) French Fries, (e) Veggie loaded Pizza and many more (c) Amenities: A decent size swimming pool to relax, recreation facility that includes hosts of games (mostly free except for premium ones on chargeable basis), SPA (managed by Tattva), Badminton open area, Bicycle on rent and the wide open lawn areas just to mesmerize in to the clean airy breeze with your partner during the evening/ night times, etc. The hotel also organises a daily evening event basis Maratha tradition called ‘Tutari’ followed by Karaoke nights. This is wonderful and very rare I see such ‘Guests Engagements’, the Experience, a class -apart. Tip: The recreation facility is the most my daughter spent her ‘Me’ time, so don’t think of carrying to many stuff as the hotel provides most of them. Tip: The hotel provides float drums, floats, etc for swimming pool, which very rarely I observe otherwise, Kudos!!! (d) Conclusion: While I was happy to see the traction of other travellers, what drove me crazy was the energy of the people managing the property, right from ground 0 – to GM level. The covid era has not only impacted the travel and hospitality industry worse, the most affected were these people managed the property to ensure we travellers get a WOW experience and take back ‘Memories for Life’. Me and my family surely had a WOW experience and checked-out with some sweet memories that are going to be part of our ‘Travel Dairies’. A big thank you to all such persons for not only making us feel more SAFE and Comfortable but also thriving immense Love and Affection !!! Lastly, a big thank you to Radisson Hotel Group for ensuring that the people at work have not been impacted due to Covid 19 by providing all the necessary support and care. Thus, for all of the above, me and my family PRODULY consider RADISSON as our ‘2nd HOME’.…

Very modern decor! Property has every amenity for a fun, family stay. The food options were plentyful and so were the activities. Have to be a bit careful in the pool as they chose to put a dark color tile so you can't really see the steps going in and out. Many people got hurt while we were in the pool. The rooms were very clean and the linens had a great scent to them, something you don't find in other hotels. All the lobbies were scented as well, very refreshing. The staff was polite and helpful whenever we saw them. Would definitely recommend this property!
