The Lotus Resort is a premier Glamping resort !!! Glamping is defined as a luxury form of camping, blending natural experience of outdoor camping with more glamorous amenities. The tents are in shape of lotus buds. The place is near the waterfall, nested inside the jungle and surrounded by the mountains from two sides. The climate is usually cold throughout the year since it is on higher altitude.
There is no access road to the resort, be prepared for huge car service bill on suspension and tires. Extremely costly, we went their on Christmas night and were charged 11k oer night without food, tea etc. Breakfast was provided but was not worth having.
Management of property extremely poor. We asked for tea and got it after 2 hours. And the tea which we paid for!
Some tents are dirty so property upkeep is very poor.
Food service is poor, expect delays up to 2 hours if resort is having group guests.
Not much of activity and no sightseeing. Even the lake is 30 mins drive.
Bottom-line there are many resorts on Pawna lake which offer much better service at great prices.

I really had high hopes from The Lotus Resort because the owners promised me that it would be. I was not sure about how the place would be because of the highly demotivating reviews on TripAdvisor. Anyway, my review: the tents are dirty and mouldy. The premiere tents don't have any premiere amenities, so in case someone still wants to come here for the experience of the location, do book through one of the booking apps. the food is ok, but really overpriced. I feel sad that the place is so badly maintained and that it ruins the experience of the beautiful location it is in. The swimming pool seems to not have a filter and it is not manually cleaned either. The tents do leak, even in November. The stream is active but the place around is not kept clean.

Pictures and Description can be deceptive. We were 2 families with young kids & had booked 2 deluxe tents. We were appalled by the condition of the place. The Wiring happened through hanging wires and a floor electrical box (extremely unsafe with children around & in rainy season). The garbage disposal was done in the gutter which leads from within the resort thru a metal grating into the waterfall. Plastic bottles, Gutka packets and chips packets strewn everywhere including at the waterfall location. There was absolute no sensitization (of the staff too) about keeping nature and surroundings clean. The plates and cutlery were not clean, it was smelly and also had filth on it. Breakfast was included in the tariff & there was no adequate food when we sat down to eat. Wondering how there are no Health, Hygiene , Safety or Environmental policies to run a resort? We had booked for 2 days but we had to cut short our travel by a day.

Had been their with Family and Friends. Few of my experience are 1. The tents are highly unhygienic and the care taker don't bother about it. 2. Food is pathetic, served cold and extremely unhygienic condition. 3. They even will not give you a complementary water bottle in your room beside charging a very high rate 9000/- per night. No toiletries will be provided. 4. You will find all kind of mosquito and flys in the tents. The bedding is ladden with fungus which easly can cause you breathing problem. 5. The swimming pool water smells as if not cleaned for weeks. 6. Surrounding is littered with all kind of garbage, they don't bother to clean. 7. Tent is provided with an AC which don't works. 8. You may need to struggle even for a mere cup of tea on morning, no one cares about the guest. They simply says we can't make tea only for you and your family while others are asleep. 9. The only best part I found was track and the guy who took us to tack. 10. Please don't through your hard earned money in garbage.

My stay at this resort was extremely disappointing. The staff was rude and lacked basic hospitality skills.
1. No Water at Night: There was no water in the washroom at night, which was unacceptable. 2. Incomplete Dinner: Despite ordering multiple items, one was never served. 3. Rude Responses to Complaints: When I raised concerns politely, the staff responded rudely and dismissively, even accusing me of lying. 4. Unhelpful at Breakfast: The staff was indifferent and unwilling to answer basic questions about the breakfast menu.
For the price, the lack of service and poor treatment from the staff made this a very unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend this resort.

The location of the resort was superb, the sounds of waterfalls and birds were so pleasing and mesmerizing. My family enjoyed it a lot. Non-veg food was tasty and nighttime was very pleasant. Night jungle safari was also good.

We were ghosted by the management ( Ms. Snigdha & Ms. Meenu)
My booking was on booking.com which they cancelled saying I was a no show (we were 9 of us) and took double the money from us than what other guest were charged.
The high tea menu was Samosa and fries. There was no facility to keep the beer cans chilled, no ice for the drinks and food was served at 11:30 pm in the night. The staff was rude and unprofessional.
When I was discussing with the above mentioned management team about the location before i booked I was told how and what Glamping is and they are one of a kind with this experience in India.
But in reality it was stress and only stress since the time we got in on 12th March 22 and till we left on 13th afternoon.
Breakfast on 13th morning also had Samosa.
We did want to talk to Ms Snigdha about the entire experience but she vanished on a pretext of a meeting on a Sunday morning and her phone was switched off till we checked out)
We were asking for a refund on the amount and they kept saying that "your booking is on booking.com, so we can't help" (they had already informed them we were a.np show.
And when at the checkout they were not able to locate a kettle in one of the tents (which was never given to us) Meenu called and said.. "Get well soon"
Really impressed how the owners of this resort are still keeping these people on their payroll even after seeing so many bad reviews accross booking and other platform.
I have already lodged a complaint with Booking and they are analysing all "no shows" this property has reported in the past. Most likely they will be banned from there for sure
The only fun part was the 12th evening party where all the troubled guests can together enjoyed to the music which we played out own.
If you want to torture someone... Send them here .. they surely will receive a GET WELL SOON msg at the end of the trip !!!

We recently gone to the resort, only to turn around and head home after just 10 minutes. Our entire day was wasted, with over 6 hours spent driving back and forth and no compensation for the disappointing experience. The actual environment was drastically different from what was advertised on the site, with poor hygiene and an unwelcoming vibe. We had booked a Premium tent and paid the amount at site but decided not to stay after seeing the state of the tent and the overall resort. Unfortunately, management refused to offer any or apart refund. Would not advise if anybody is looking for premium experience with a tent stay. It’s a below average resort.
