Was in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel management kindly accommodated a reschedule and extension of my earlier plan . The hotel is centrally located, has a good restaurant, a games room, a spa and gym. Had a very comfortable stay. The room was quite spacious with a comfortable bed, though the bathroom was bit small and cramped. Both the non-veg and veg restaurant served very good tasty food . The swimming pool also looked nice though we did not use it. The hotel also arranges car for local sightseeing or transportation to other places like Mumbai, Pune

We went in for a 1 night stay. Starting with the rooms , we had booked a premium room with a Queen sized bed .The room was pretty well furnished and maintained along with good quality AC .It had all the basic amenities that you would normally get with a hotel room . The hotel has two restaurants , one with veg/ non veg options (Garam masala ) and another with pure veg option ( Revanta ) .We went to Garama masala for lunch and found the taste of the food to be very good.Only point to ponder was the Rate vs Quantity aspect .We did not find the quantity of food provided to be fair justice for the price asked . The property has a pool which is not too big and not too small ,at the back side of the property with a children's play area .There was also a nice big Lord Buddha statue for the photogenic public . The biggest plus we found with the stay was the Saturday night live orchestra which was organised .Spent a peaceful and melodious night with beautiful singing and music , big kudos to the artists performing the show . The breakfast was a pretty normal Indian type breakfast , wherein there is a scope of improvement.People need to downsize their expectations and options about the breakfast. Overall we had a pleasant stay at the property without any major complaints.

Location: This hotel is situated in the main road, which makes it easy to find. Main attractions of the city are close by. Also, there are a number of restaurants and chikki centers within 1km range, however, this part of town gets really crowded and faces a lot of traffic jams. Facility: Ample parking space. Good reception area. Restaurant has good seating arrangements. Swimming pool is medium sized and clean. Spa center also looks good. Games area is fine, but pool table, foosball table, air hockey table are in poor condition, which should be well maintained. Gym is also poorly managed. Hospitality: staff is courteous and helpful. They try to solve the issues as soon as possible. Room: ours was a twin bed room, it was neat and clean. Bathroom was also tidy, however, there was some strange smell which they failed to rectify because as per them, they received too much guests socit was not able to do so. Also, absence of fridge in hot summer days was a huge disappointment. Pillows were too big for a normal person to relax and sleep. Food. Breakfast spread was good and tasty. I had boiled eggs, egg bhurji, cut fruit, sheera and tea. Main course looked a little costly, so we decided to skip it.

The hotel left a bad taste on our departure and thus the poor rating. They accommodated our requested of rooms with a view. To begin with when we arrived in the afternoon and sat in the restaurant for evening tea… we requested a tea pot with ginger and cardamom. To our surprise… we got boiled water, milk , sugar … separate. That too after a wait of 40 mins. The girl who took the order blamed the kitchen, the maitre d blamed the girl. Funny and bad! The bar upstairs is empty… with sharp edged table that tore my dress. He did not have whiskies neither wanted to take corkage. The spa is worse… no pressure no hot water no sauna and no music.. no relaxation. So we had already called beforehand and asked for 12 noon check out, received a confirmation from Siddhi (receptionist). 11:15 am the phone rang in the room and a guy with a coarse voice started asking us to vacate the room… he said ‘It’s 11:15 … u have gone above 15 mins. Leave the room now’. We told him that it’s already been spoken multiple times that we will leave at 12 noon and the guy just did not listen. He said ‘I am the senior.’ The conversation got so heated that we said once we come down we will discuss the extra cost for the so called delay! And to our surprise when we went down, Siddhi was alone at the front desk and all she did was apologise. Mystery senior man who spoiled the whole experience. We will not be going back to this place. It is well located but service needs massive improvement as it is inconsistent. Sometimes it is great sometimes it is worst. Pillows are too fluffy and rooms are clean.

Excellent stay, good staff, good service The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

This is for all those people like me who dnt get bookings in good hotels and finally land up in mess hotel like grand visava as I did. Hotel ambience average food below average staff courtesy in minus. Absolutely insensitive staff, lethregic management. This is honest review. We spend our hard earned money on vacations. Spending on such hotel is waste of pur money.

We stayed here for a day and it was a good experience. The room service was good they do have a good breakfast buffet.
It is near to railway station, bus stand, and it is in the center of the city.
The hotel staff are humble are good at hospitality.
However, the dining tables in the restaurant need a overhaul and they need to be fixed.

We had a disappointing experience with MakeMyTrip. We booked and paid for two rooms, but the hotel only provided one. Despite being loyal customers and explaining the situation, the hotel admitted they received payment for two rooms but still refused to provide the second room.

We stayed for 2 nights in grand visava hotel, lonavla. It was good time for us staying in this hotel. Rooms are very good maintained. All staff in this hotel are really very kind and generous. We had good hospitality. Breakfast included is very good. Food is good but very costly.

i stayed here from 29th to 31st July 2017. hotel is very good . bad part is smoke evolved in the kitchen on ground floor spreads in the whole hotel making it un- hygenic. i stayed in rom no 206 where through out night noise of sort of motor running off/on automatically went on. breakfast was quite good. room service was just ok. bottled soda( small bottle) was invoiced rs 115. mrp of sealed Duke brand soda was rs 15 only. their restaurant was found empty all the time which raised doubt and we took dinner outside. no doubt ranking no 1 given by trip advisor to Restaurant Radha Krishan turned out to be true. their food was awesome. lonavala has few points worth seeing but two days are more than enough for this tiny place.
