Don't expect much, the basic amenities are available. Since religious site and more over to visit lord at early morning this is a good place to stay on an average price.
Hot water only available on early morning for 2 hours.
Do not expect much hospitality since staffs are not keenly interested.

We reached Dharmasthala around 4pm and was told the temple will open for dharshan at 7pm.We went to nethravathi guest house which is run by devasthanam. The staff at the reception counter said rooms are to be booked in advance however he was courteous enough to allot a room for us.The AC double bedroom alloted was quiet spacious and neat, the maintenance was very good.I recommend this place for a comfortable stay which is very close to the temple

Rooms are very neat and clean. I was there for a short while. Very impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the enthusiasm with which they greeted first time visitors like me. Nethravathi Lodge is also very close to Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple.
Keep it up !!

Since there is nearly 10000 visitors to this place every day, it is better to book in advance. This is one of the many lodges run by the Temple mgt. I gave a ring n they noted down my no. On arrival I didn't have any problem For the price of Rs850 for a Single AC in hot May, this was heavily subsidised! Temple is just opposite!

This lodge is very near the temple. Walking distance from the temple. Very nicely located.
Rooms are very clean and neatly kept. This lodge has no attached restaurant but there are many restaurants nearby and lodge is very near all places. We can walk and go round and find places to shop and eat.
Parking is available opposite the lodge. Hot water was available in the mornings. Overall we had a great stay here in the clean and tidy place and very near the temple. We walked to the temple many times and also lucky enough to get darshan of Manjunatha two times as there was no crowd.

Nethravathi is a nice lodge, maintained well. they have both AC and non-AC rooms. it is very near to the temple, making it easy to walk to temple even during summers. opposite the lodge are hotels, with good food too - local food.

I have been a regular visitor to the dharmastala to visit lord Manjunathaswamy temple. For all of my visits, chose to stay at netravathi guest house maintained by temple trust.
This guesthouse is at walkable distance from the temple & is centrally located for any necessary amenities (atms/medical shops/eatery/general supply shops) required
For a piligrim centre this accommodation is very decent.Rooms & attached bathrooms are clean. In the past I noticed some dampness in the toilet roofs in some rooms, but no dripping was noticed. Observed that over the years a lot of effort was put in to maintain this guesthouse in good condition.
Rooms have fans and a balcony.
Hot water is from solar heaters over the roof, hence they provide it only during a few hours in the morning to the guests.
Vehicle parking is available opposite to the guesthouse and there seems to be one next to it as well.
There is an eatery which serves good food and is located opposite to the guest house
Prior booking is however necessary to avail the guesthouse facility.
Attitude of staff keepers - not very cordial; they sounded rash and arrogant

The hotel is the best at proper Dharmastala maintained by the trust. It's very close to the temple and you need to be lucky to get rooms here. All the lodges maintained by the trust are no profit Accommodations and provide basic amenities for the Pilgrims. Nethravathi offers more than the amenities and is the cleanest of all. The only issue is hot water supply in the morning. It's not even warm and these winter days it can be challenging to take baths in the early morning. The staff were all but courteous and never managed to smile. May be because its not a commercial hotel. The other choices are either far or on the other side of the river. So just chill at Nethravathi. The best restaurant is just opposite to the lodge making your life easy.
