Today, it is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot.
While travelling Alleppey I happened to stay at this hotel just for couple of days with families. The Room was quite spacious and big and the best thing about this room is it was interconnected which is safe for families always.
The restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices. Restaurant staff recommended a special Biriyani-KIZHI BIRIYANI with choice FISH/CHICKEN. Too good to have, though spicy but must have this. The Restaurants however serve decent buffet with very reasonable price too.
Staffs are really amazing and they will help you out in every way they can. They were too good and provided us excellent service.
House keeping services are prompt and excellent, all showed excellent hospitality and always there to support us whenever we needed.
Hats off to the General manager of the property too who personally came to the lobby and taken feedback our stay. The Overall experience was really great and is definitely worthy of patronage while in Alleppey.

You would feels like you would be staying in a close to 5 star hotel. Very clean and polish rooms with nice ambience. Courteous, smart and polite staff. Nice place to dine out with family and friends. Possibly the best possible place to stay in Allepey.

Had made a bulk booking of nine rooms for a wedding function. I was a visitor from Canada. Housekeeping was a disaster. Very rude staff. No hot water in rooms and after complaining numerous times some of the bathrooms were somehow furnished with hot running water. Numerous rooms had broken doors in the shower cabinets. Rooms infested with mosquitoes in the evenings especially during this time of contagious diseases. Basement parking seldom has parking space. Had requested for a detailed bill on previous day of checkout and on checkout day front office informed bill was not ready and would email the same but till date no email from them. I suspect I have been overcharged but out of courtesy did not dispute the amount they charged me and also since I was leaving did not have time for argument. Would not recommend anyone to stay at the hotel especially tourists or anyone intending to book multiple rooms

We were 27 group stayed on 31st Dec 2017 here arranged by Creative Holidays, Trivendrum though our agent, Travel Lion, Delhi. Originally we were 31 and on 29th Dec i, as incharge of the group had discussed with one of the managers, Mr Joseph who was dealing with Creative. When i asked him if we only 27 attend how the billing be made for the gala diner( for which we paid for 31),he replied that bill would be made for 27. He further informed me that though we booked for 15 rooms through Creative, he would bill only for 14 rooms and refund one room rent if we so wish. Based on this we , 27 only stayed and conveyed this to our agent Travel Lion. Afterwords our agent confirmed this on phone that he had a conference call with Bonanza Manager and Creative Holidays where they informed him that bill would made for 27 people, but room rent won't be refunded. When i questioned Mr Joseph about his promise, he did not reply me properly and avoided his talk. But till today Creative Holidays did not sent any refund though we paid the entire package cost of for the Kerala trip Rs7.0 lacs to our agent Travel Lion 6 months before.Creative neither paid the refund as the hotel provided one room less and never honored the promises in the conference call and discussion with me where Mr Joseph promised to bill only for 27 people based on the no of participants.If they had not said like that we would have participated more in number.
Though our agent tried many a times Creative was careless in handling the program and did not comply many of our required things, but promises were made.Creative had hidden certain facts before the tour and never bothered to inform our agent and they never bothered to book conference halls in spite of many reminders.In the last minute they said about nonavailability. Then we our selves booked them ultimately. At Bonanza, we had tough time, only Mr Rupesh can communicate as all others know only Malayalam.They did not provide extra bed in spite of 5 repeated requests. They did not serve some evening snacks, ultimately i had to go to their kitchen and took the stuff. I requested Mr Rupesh that following day break fast and snacks bill to be ready by 10 mts early by 7.20 a.m as we checkout. He agreed,but when we came down at 7.20 a.m nothing was there.We had to wait till 8.00 a.m and could get only 1-2 items of breakfast.Even billos were not ready and Mr Rupesh was at his home and people at reception said there was no bill against us. Lot of confusion.After so much of persuation and wait, ultimately Mr Rupesh asked to pay 2600/- which we did. There were no boys even to push our luggage into our bus which was in front of their door.Absolutely no coordination no value for their words of their managers.Gala dinner food was so so though we paid Rs2000/- We had lot of trouble here. Our agent still awaits for refund though he himself had to pay separate amt ( given to the bus on his request) to us. All this amount to careless handling by Creative Holidays and dubious act by Bonanza K.B.S.Saibabu AUChemical 1973

This was our first ever trip to Alappuzha........ Stayed here for a vacation with family at Hotel Bonanza. Its truly one of the best hotels in Alappuzha. Excellent facilities with clean and well maintained rooms. We had a gr8 experience staying there.Especially my daughter enjoyed Kerala cuisine (Fish fry)!. Food quality was awesome.
My special tons of thanks to Mr.Roopesh (GM) and his staffs for their kind hospitality extended.Overall a marvelous experience.
We strongly recommend this hotel to my all friends and relatives.
Planning to stay here for next vacation....:-)

Great experience. Wide variety of foods from at an affordable price . Especially thali meals. Clean atmosphere. Hotel is about to be a one year . Maintains superb. Hotel was nice and clean . Staff was friendly . Only thing where I would see improvement in food quality and variety . Though menu card had many dishes mentioned while ordering those i got answer that most of them were not available . However stay was pleasant .

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I had stayed in two other hotels before visiting this hotel in Kerala. Both the previous hotels were great disappointment but Hotel Bonanza was great. It was clean and well managed. The hotel staff were friendly. The manager was very pleasant. Would highly recommend this place. Not too pricy, clean and simply wonderful. The food could have been better. Overall, loved this place.

The hotel is very good.It is very clean and hygienic.The hotel is exactly the same as is shown in the photo gallery of the hotel site.The staff is very polite and always at your help.Had a good experience.The breakfast buffet is too good.The only glitch is that there are very few vegetarian dinner food options in the restaurant.Overall the hotel is very good.
