After a hectic two week tour of Rajasthan, spending a few days relaxing in the home of Swapna, Binoy and their children turned out to be the highlight of our trip to India. Our room was clean and comfortable, with effective air conditionimg and shower. The meals cooked by Swapna and served in the garden proved excellent - Keralan home cooking. Swapna and Binoy could not do enough for us - we certainly hope to return again one day.

Family could not do enough for you. More food than you could possibly eat - all excellent quality. Don’t expect western standard showers! You will love the experience . The beach is amazing- watching the local fishermen haul in their catch and straighten their nests is a unique experience

Very nice and quite place only 3 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms are comfortable and the family is lovely breakfast and dinner is delicious. I 100%recommend this place. Many people worry about the floods in Kerala but there is no problems with flooding anymore. People here depends on tourism so keep on coming to this amazing place.

Swapna and Binoy are amazing hosts. This homestay is clean and facilities are good. It’s quiet and the art done by Binoy is brilliant. It’s only 2 walks from the beach! Can’t recommend this place enough - we will be back!

Clean comfortable accommodation just a few minutes walk to the beach. Nothing was a too much trouble for Binoy & Swapna, from organising taxi's to booking massages. Only 2 rooms so perfect for our family. Comfortable outside area with fans and fabulous much needed air con in the rooms. The perfect place to relax after travelling around Kerala.

This is a lovely 2 room homestay only a hundred meters from beautiful Mararikkulam beach. We spent 1 night in February and I can understand why other people changed their itinereries to stay longer. Its very tranquil, with a shaded terrace to sit on and hammocks in the small garden to relax in. The property is spotlessly clean and has been well thought through and well fitted out with plenty of storage space, a big bathroom and efficient AC and a ceiling fan. Swapna and her husband Binoy were lovely hosts who prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast for us and organised a taxi for our onward journey. Marari beach is a minutes walk away and is a seemingly endless strip of white sand. There are beach beds and umbellas to rent but not a lot else- a little shack selling basic food just behind the beach and a sprinkling of other travellers. If your looking for a beautiful undeveloped beach you'll find it here. And Marari Swapna Beach Villas is the perfect place to stay to enjoy it.…

We stayed here with our kids and felt very welcome Our kids had good company and we enjoyed every moment. You can see the dedication of the artist and the love for details everywhere, be it room, bathroom or garden, everything is beautifully maintained. Actually nobody wanted to leave but there was more to discover and the wish remains to come back.

Superb location, almost at the beach (where it's possible to rent beach chairs and umbrellas). The place itself is beautiful, very clean and comfortable with AC, terrace and hammocks in a little garden. Super delicious food cooked by Swapna. Amazing atmosphere. The owner family was so kind, hospitable and open-hearted to us, that we felt like home. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay at a beautiful beach. Our best stay in India.

Swapna Beach Villa is such a delightful place to stay - I couldn't recommend it more! It has a lovely atmosphere - the family are wonderful. They clearly take great pride in making it the cosy and hospitable place that it is. The family cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and the rooms were of a very high standard, best sleep we've had yet on our trip. Located a bit further down from the main point on Marari beach, Swapna feels authentic and tranquil, away from the busy road and tourists. This place feels very special.
